Quartz is manufactured for superior durability and has nearly unlimited options for style and color. It also requires less maintenance and resists stains better than unsealed granite. Quartz slabs are engineered in a factory from ground quartz combined with polyester resins to bind it and pigments to give it a unique color.

These folks are consistently easy to work with. I've used their services professionally several times, and was always pleased with the job they did. We were able to get a quote very quick via email and we were quite surprised at the lower prices but we decided it wasn't for us after visiting the showroom. JQ Kitchen and Bath has a large warehouse show room but selection is very limited. Color and style is not great but fine if it is what you are looking for. We wanted bright white cabinets but they only offered a creamy color

We recently had our kitchen counters redone and our sink, cook top and range hood replaced. JQ's employees came properly equipped, had a plan of attack for the project, and executed it with expert efficiency and skill. Their manager also communicated with us in a timely way, really unusual in this day and age in our experience. My husband and I had owned our home for a few years when we finally decided to do an kitchen upgrade (just counter, sink, and back splash) to increase the value of our home. There were some issues with ordering materials and since we had no experience doing a kitchen remodel, the process was a little frustrating. We had to make several last-minute decisions the day of the install so we would not have to postpone the project and lead to more expenses. JQ came up with good solutions on the spot and we were very happy with the result at the time of completion.

We found the perfect bathroom vanity at JQ. They ordered it, and held in their shop until we were ready for delivery.
When JQ arrived for the install, there was an issue with our existing plumbing placement. The crew was able to quickly come up with a solution, and re-route on the spot. The team stayed late into the evening, ensuring the vanity was installed that day.
They took great care, delivering a very professional job. So pleased with the results. Would definitely recommend their services.

Recently went in for an estimate. I am on a tight budget and did explain that. Once we went into the warehouse, I was very disappointed in the lack of choices. We were only shown a few things we could consider for our kitchen. No granite at all. Fortunately we went to the Home Show in Pleasanton and met with another kitchen company. The price was nearly 40% less and the kitchen is beautiful, with granite!

I used them for 2 kitchen remodels in 2 different houses, and they did a great job. The second job was tricky, because the granite counter top had to go around 2 posts. I thought the result was just 'ok', but my wife suggested I call and complain. I like being married, so I did. The OWNER came out, and she was less satisfied than I was, and directed her workers to redo it, (for free, of course) and it turned out great, much better than I expected. It reminded me of that Vince Lombardi quote: that we never reach perfection, but it is only through the relentless pursuit of perfection

I've used JQ Kitchen and Bath on four kitchen remodeling projects. I am pleased with all of them. I worked with both Wendy and Eva. They are both great and very helpful. The installers showed up when scheduled, and the end result is amazing. A couple of the projects were in an older apartment, where the floor, window sills and tile wall were uneven. The installers used their own judgement and made adjustments so the end result looks so good. I would highly recommend JQ and would not hesitate to use them for my next kitchen project.

We found JQ on yelp after getting an estimate from Home Depot for twice what JQ quoted. It was a complete kitchen remodel, everything was removed, even a closet to make additional space. I was concerned about the cabinets coming from China. I shouldn't have been. They were made of solid maple, unlike the laminate cabinets from HD. They had all the features of modern cabinets with pullouts, built-in trash cans, lazy Susans, soft close drawers, etc. They are absolutely beautiful and work so well.

So our sink counter had a seam right down the center of our sink. It started to loosen once water became an issue, and we had to call JQ a couple of times to come back and seal the seam again. After a few visits, they opted to replace the entire counter, free of charge. They put the seam on the left side and not down the center of the sink. We were so happy with their work before, so we didn't even think to stay while they re-did the counter. To

I used JQ Kitchen and bath for a kitchen remodel. Within 4 months the granite started cracking in multiple places and both sides. Not only did 'the owner" not take any responsibility but was aggressive and hostile. I had to file a complaint with the contractors board (which I won) and endure a year long arbitration to get my money back. I had to demo and replace all the work with they did. Please save yourself a lot of heartache and use someone else. It was very painful year.

This place is amazing! I met Wendy and Eva back in April of this year when I was inquiring about remodeling my kitchen. They are both extremely helpful and I am so happy with the end result.

Eva is amazing. We are very very picky and have spent maybe over 12 hours with EVA changing our design & asking questions. She is EXTREMELY patient! She is also very knowledgeable and smart! when you give her your measurements, she practically memorizes them and quickly comes up with a design. she knows ALOT!
she was also very kind, patient (even though we honestly were shopping around for months, she still spent time with us and did not get annoyed)

We did not hire them which is why I am giving them two stars instead of one. The cabinet bid was 40% higher then their competitors, not detailed at all only one price (for the wrong height, which I had written in the email, not hard to get it right). When I called Wendy was so rude that my 14 year old that was in the car could not understand how anybody in business could be that nasty. She would only go over numbers in person if we met and not give me a copy for review. Lastly she never sent me the bid on the size I specced.
