Chain Driven Openers- Chain drives are slightly cheaper than belt drives. Chain drive openers tend to be noisy, so if your garage is located below or adjacent to the main rooms in your home, you don't want this opener. Chain drives run the garage door on its track by using a metal chain. Belt Drive Openers- Belt drives run on a steel reinforced belt.

If yours was manufactured prior to that date it is unlikely your house would even pass an inspection with it, so we recommend to replace in this situation. Safety concerns with a brand- If a manufacturer has been successfully sued for safety defects, we will not repair that model.

It is never fun knowing you have a garage door issue. Friends and neighbors on our little key suggested that I call Precision Overhead Garage Door for repairs. The tech sent, Wayne Madore, is a true friendly and knowledgeable technician. If all the representatives are similar to Wayne, Precision is one hell of a company. I will recommend this company to all, even though I hate spending money.

Prompt, professional, courteous. This was stellar service at a competitive price. I’m thrilled that not only did the service tech fix the issues we asked to have resolved, he also repaired issues left by the original installer. I don’t know that I’ve ever been excited about opening a garage door before but it’s a much more pleasant experience now. Money well spent. I will use this service again and recommend it to friends.
