Livingston Roofing was founded in 1957 in Livingston Parish, Louisiana by Clarence and Eve Chenevert. The company specialized in commercial and residential roofing installation, as well as sheet metal work. After a few years in business, the Cheneverts moved the headquarters to Baton Rouge. Their son, Skip, took over the business in the early 1980's and ran the business until he passed away in 2004.

We got our 3rd price for a new roof from Chuck. Being a carpenter, my husband had already figured out about what it should cost us for material and labor. The prices from the first two companies were several thousand dollars over. Chuck’s price was right in the ballpark. The crew was on time and they got to work right away. They were all very nice, polite, easy to talk to and hard working. When an issue came up about our permit the foreman contacted Chuck right away. He and Sally both took care of it in no time. The roof looks great and with the clean up it looks like they weren’t even here

Chuck was very responsive from my first contact with him. He came out personally and surveyed the job prior to giving me a quote. He also advised of upcoming pricing pressure he expected on the metal so that I could schedule the work accordingly. His crew was professional and did a great job on my new roof. Chuck and his roofing team performed outstanding! In less than 4 hours they removed and replaced my entire roof plus additional covered area. They did a very thorough pick-up, clean-up.
The crew was hard working, punctual, nice, friendly.
They worked in a safe manner- using tie-offs, ladders, appropriately so that we weren’t concerned about them on our steep roof.
The price was very competitive.
What else is there? Rarely if ever have I had a major project contractor and crew deserve a 5 star rating.

Mrs. Sally and Mr. Chuck are great people! Gave us directions to several roofs that they put on, to choose a metal roof that we liked best. Mr. Chuck's crews are hard workers that get the job done quickly! They are organized, professional, efficient!
