The Wilhelm family began operations in the "Uptown District" of Lisbon avenue in 1945 when Lawrence Wilhelm opened his grocery store on the corner of 52nd and Lisbon. Through an odd unfolding of events in the late 1950's Lawrence began selling used windows and doors right at the grocery store. Demand for this new "grocery" line, became so popular that in 1961 he closed the grocery store and started Lisbon Storm Screen and Door Company.

Bay and bow windows are made up of an array of individual windows that extend past the exterior walls of your home, giving you more light and space. Bay windows are usually made up of three windows, often a central picture window with a casement window on each side. This arrangement is more angular and works well in spaces 40 wide and wider.
Casement windows have hinges on one side and swing outward or inward to open. Casement windows are a great choice for harder-to-reach spots like over a kitchen sink. We have new, used and replacement casement windows for sale at our Milwaukee showroom and retail store. Double casement windows are a pair of casement windows with hinges on opposite sides so they swing outward from the middle.

I had the worst experience with ordering from this place. I would give them zero stars if I could. I built a new home and ordered an entire house worth of doors (over $5000). The doors came damaged, the quality was poor, and worse the customer service did nothing to fix the issues or come out and evaluate them.
The only effort they put in was to contact the manufacturer which just told me to caulk the issues. I had door jambs that were split and warped, doors that had damage, and the “solid” doors I ordered were just cheap MDF veneer. I would have been better off ordering doors from Menards

If I could give zero stars I would. I am going to be filing a BBB complaint regarding this place. We ordered all new doors, for the whole house from this place and they have sent us the worst quality doors for the doors they rememberedto order. The frame alignment was off on half the doors, they sent us the wrong pantry door, they just plain forgot to order 3 doors. And worst of all, they forgot to order the front storm door. We waited months for them to be painted, and by the time the installers were here, they didn't have a front door, just sidelights. We have had to send back the hardware that

I stopped in on Wednesday to order a custom sized storm door for my upstairs deck at my home. The door was shorter and narrower than a standard size, they told me that had a door that could be cut down and that it would fit. They called me the very next day to tell me it was ready and that they did not need to modify the width of the door after all, just the height. When I picked up the door, they refunded me the extra charge for the width modification. When I went to install the door, I saw where it was trimmed down, they did a nice job on it and even sealed the bottom with silicone. The price

We orderd two security storm doors and one entrance door. The staff at Lisbon Storm, Screen and Door was very helpful in helping us select the appropriate doors and hardware options. Great staff. Thanks for all the help. We worked with a contractor Dan from 2ManCrew who was very efficient in installing the doors. He was very efficient in installing the doors and didn't leave a mess.
