Mesquite Interiors only uses lumber has been reclaimed from the bottom of three reservoirs in Sonora Mexico. Our mesquite is kiln dried to less than 5% moisture content, guaranteed. Being under water for over 40 years makes the wood become more stable, helps the glue to adhere better, and allows for a truer color uniformity.

Our mesquite comes from full size mesquite logs, that are hand selected for it's high quality grain and unique strength. Once chosen, it is then decided what is its best use; should it be made into a fine dining room table, or a couple of end tables to finish out a living room.The logs are then cut into the precise pieces need for that project.

For the customer who wants that special piece of unique furniture, 85% of what we produce is custom work, based on sketches, photos, or the customer's ideas. Working together with the customer in our showroom, we can glean design elements from existing pieces on the floor. Several surface finishes are available: distressed hand-hewn or a smooth-to-the-touch finish.

My spouse and I have been looking for a mesquite table with chairs for the past couple of years and have visited several businesses in Texas and Arizona looking for the perfect set. We visited Mesquite Interiors and found the set we both liked. The chairs are light and ergonomically designed. Rudy, the owner, gave us the interesting history about our table he just recently refinished. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the finishing of the wood is impeccable. After ordering a custom piece: a laddered, tall bookcase in November, we began the waiting period with great anticipation. The finished product was recently delivered and I cannot describe just how beautiful it is. The finish, design, craftsmanship, presence of the piece have all exceeded our expectations. Though it's in a corner, my gaze is always attracted to it. I can't walk past it without touching it! Rudy is an artisan and a pleasure to work with.

Sofa and coffee tables with live edges were delivered quickly with superb craftsmanship. Rudy and his team listened well, offered excellent education about the wood, ensured an accurate stream of information and photos during the production process, and provided white glove delivery. We fell in love with a mesquite dining table the minute we saw it. Rudy explained the creative process and helped us find the right size for our dining room. We stopped back with further questions and were treated with kindness and consideration. The furniture was delivered right on time and we received a tutorial in how to easily keep our table beautiful for years to come. I find I stop by the dining room a couple of times a day now to just admire our new table and chairs.
