I needed an electrical outlet installed in my warehouse unit - they told me $100 to come out and $189 for the job (did not mention hourly). Johnathan kindly waived the $100 "show up fee" and sent his worker out and he arrived an hour and a half late.
After checking things out and planning how to do the job, they quote me at $3000. I was advised that it was a 2-man 8 hour job and I would have to pay them to go get the materials as well. Not just the materials, but their time getting them. Any time spent conversing will also add to the bill. I declined and said I was not expecting this

This company is a rip off! They came to put in a faucet and replace a gas line to our outdoor grill. The worker decided he needed to change all the piping under the sink and went to Home Depot to get the parts along with the necessary gas line. He was gone 4.5 hours and charging me while driving to 3 home depots to look for parts. Final bill $2044!!!!! I called and there was no discussing the final bill as he said it was all justified. RIP OFF, RIP OFF, RIP OFF!!!!

0 stars. Found them on a website last night where it said "estimate with no obligation" & "estimate is given before any work is started". We called last night around midnight just to get an estimate, guy said he'd send someone to let us know in the morning. The morning comes and someone shows up but didn't even turn the lights back on. Total rip-off!! Price gougers to say the least. I was charged nearly $3000 for 3 hours of work. All that was done was installation of a new outlet onto an already existing junction box. $3000!! I called back and as soon as I said my name the guy on the phone already new why I was calling. He immediately offered a discount before I even asked about why our invoice was so high. Price gougers. A neighbor had an electrical problem Friday evening. Somehow one of the switches on their electrical main panel had been turned off - not overloaded. They looked for a contractor and somehow called Lumack Bellot Constructors https://lumackbellot.com/ . One of their folks came out at around 7 - 8 Friday evening. All they did was turn on the breaker switch and charge $500.00. I realize it was after normal working hours but $500.00? The electrician saw an opportunity and gouged. I would understand $100 - $200. But certainly not $500.

These guys are crooks. Do not use them! They completely took advantage of a 93 year old lady (my friend). Her heater went out and she called them because there was an ad for 24/7 emergency service. They charged $375 per hour to diagnose her heater. After spending time (and charging for the time) to go buy fuses at Home Depot the fuses didn't fix it. They sent another guy out and he replaced a small 24v transformer. They ended up charging her a 5 hour minimum plus a device charge plus $840+ for the transformer and un-needed fuses. I called to schedule an appointment for an electrical consult and asked if they had anything available during the week. I was told they actually have an appointment available that evening. They come out and determined it was a faulty outlet. The technician left my house and went to Home Depot because he said he didn't have a new one available. Hired Lumack Bellot Construction (CA License 1000080) to install this at the rate of $149/hr and this is what it sounds like the first time I turned it on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGzNOC5noYw&feature=youtu.be . So I txt him the video and ping him again and few times. No response. Finally I get him on the phone and he tells me his installation work was superb and there's nothing wrong with how that fan is working.
