For over 40 years this combination has enabled La Lune Collection to create the finest designer rustic furniture available. La Lune Collection co-founder Mario Costantini set out in life to become a physician in his native Argentina - however, as will happen in life, the best-laid plans took a turn.
Along the way he came to the United States and met Cathy in college; they married and opened an interior design firm in Milwaukee, and this in turn led Mario to design a few pieces of rustic furniture for a restaurant project.

We are proud at La Lune Collection of our beautiful and unique furniture which we create at our equally beautiful and unique facility, a collection of charming cream city brick buildings built over 100 years ago that we have carefully and lovingly restored. Our buildings, machinery, and equipment, all dating back to the early 1900's, have been thoroughly recycled and restored incorporating high efficient use of energy.
Since La Lune Collection's inception in 1979, before eco-friendly became fashionable, we have been concerned about the environment and particularly about deforestation by the lumber and furniture industries. Many of our customers are surprised to learn that La Lune Collection is one of the most eco-friendly furniture companies in the world.
