Bob Drost's passion for landscaping began early. At the age of 14, he started as a caddy at Belvedere Golf Club in Charlevoix, Michigan, and worked his way up until he was given a chance to work on the course's maintenance. He loved caring for the course, and when he watched a company come in with a tree spade to plant some new trees, he was smitten.
With fifteen years of administrative and customer service experience, Charlotte is a great addition to our Maintenance team. She's the friendly voice you hear on the phone when you call to schedule your spring cleanup or discuss a fertilization plan, and she's the one who keeps our maintenance team organized and on track.
We truly pride ourselves on our personalized service and commitment to our clients. From landscape design and tree service to seasonal maintenance, our team provides you with the best solution for the job. While our clients' needs can vary greatly, we have developed a six-step process that is the road map to your custom landscape.
Giving back to the community is our passion at Drost, whether it's through outreach and educational opportunities for youth, or hands on construction projects. Each year, Drost employees volunteer their own time and talents to improving the community we call home. Our internship program areas include Design, Nursery Management and Construction Management.

I asked for an additional portion of our tree be trimmed but the crew explained removing that branch would be harmful to the tree. They were professional, very knowledgeable and made a very difficult job look routine. I would recommend Drost every time.

Drost Landscaping recently provided an accurate estimate for tree removal and tree trimming to my up north retreat. The crew of three were efficient, and extremely competent. They did a fantastic job felling the dead trees, trimming, and clean up. They also did kept their word on the quote for service. I can highly recommend.

Very professional company! The entire process worked smoothly and on time. I was impressed with everyone I talked to or came in contact with. I had several trees removed and stump grinding. The stump grinding crew just left and it looks like the trees were never there. Their cleanup is fantastic. Will use them again for some future work.

The quality and professional of every member of the tree cutting and stump removal crew was wonderful. Their team work helped to speed the process up. Two men were responsible for the cutting and trimming. Two men hustled around moving the branches and smaller logs to the chipper. I was at work for most of the time they crews were at our home, my neighbors (amazed at what they watched..) called me at my office...the work being done was of such quality, and care. They didn’t drop anything heavy on the driveway, picked up and raked up very well each evening they were there. I am a firm believer
