President/CEO LaTora is the president and CEO of Gilliam Construction LLC. LaTora is a Florida Certified General Contractor, Florida Certified Roofing Contractor, and a Florida Licensed Real Estate agent. She directly oversees all of the following area's of operations, human resource management, all financial activities of the family owned and operated business.
LaTora oversees all budgeting, estimating, and project management of all new construction and renovation projects both residential and commercial. LaTora is responsible for all the day to day operations of the company since it's beginning and is a native of Sarasota, FL. She graduated Cum Laude from Florida A&M University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
She continued her education at Florida State University. LaTora then returned to Sarasota, where she was employed as a contract-policy and procedure administrator for a federally funded organization. As the CEO and being OSHA CERTIFIED LaTora ensures that all safety programs are monitored and updated on a regular basis, as well as all drug testing policies as Gilliam Construction LLC.is a drug free work place.
