Today he works with a tea, of painters, carpenters, handymen and office personnel. All of our crews drive company owned/ professional lettered vehicles and our staff all wears uniforms.
American Painting Contractors is a family owned and operated business. This Frederick, MD based company developed its niche by supplying its' market area with quality paint and re-paint with a reputable contractor, using quality material and delivering 110% of contract responsibility. APC in a multi-divisional, full service decorating company, able to meet the total paint and wall covering needs of all of the APC clients.
Companies who hire Full Time Employees Each employee is reference checked and a criminal background check is performed. Subcontractors may or may not be checked but their workers rarely if ever are. A subcontractor's workforce may consist of undocumented workers, inexperienced workers or even criminals.
For a long lasting exterior painting project to last, its more then just "slapping" a coat of paint just so it looks good.
We then start removing the loose flaking paint, old, failing caulking around trim and windows, sand all the surfaces, clean, prime, apply new premium caulk 9yes, you should caulk after your prime, caulking adheres better to properly primed surfaces better then "raw wood" then we apply premium exterior paints that are matched to the surfaces we are painting.

I called King of Christmas in early September for holiday lighting decor, since I figured they'd book up early. At first they replied to my emails, but when it came time to schedule, they NEVER got back to me.
I wrote multiple emails and I called and left about 4 phone messages. Nothing.
Cannot recommend this company. At all.

Bought a Groupon for this company. The day of painting they called after the time they were supposed to be there and said a truck had broken down and they weren't coming. I asked how they were going to make it up to me bc I had taken the day off from work. No compensation offered. They had a guy show up to paint my house a week later. he did not sand, spackle or anything. Ddn't even take the picture hangers out the wall jst painted over them. This company is horrible and I want my money back! I also called two days ago, no answer.

Feeling kind of so-so about the whole experience. Took the company a few weeks to finally iron out an appointment for me, and even after that they had to reschedule twice. When Ron's contractor failed to show the day of my painting, Ron himself came to my house (albeit two hours late) to complete the work. He rushed the second coat in the master bedroom leaving thick drips in a few areas that we'll need to fix, but otherwise the paint job was okay and fast.

I had the same issue. Before I purchased the Groupon I called the company and spoke with the owner. He told me he signed up with Groupon to ensure his employees had work during the leaning months and to call him back in October to schedule the work. I purchased the Groupon and then called him, or at least tried to call him. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB. He responded to my complaint and advised me to call him, which I did. When we spoke for the 2nd time he told me the only date open was 12/27 so Itook it. He told me his guys would be there around 8:00 am. Two weeks prior to the work

I would stay far, far away from this company...
I purchased a Groupon for a one room painting a few months ago. After multiple attempts (both phone and email) to contact Leeco to schedule my appointment, I contacted Groupon to cancel my voucher and refund my money. Leeco never returned any of my voicemails, nor did the company return any of my emails.
