If you want to grind that stump below ground level we can handle that. If you are going to pour a slab then we will go down about 6 inches so that the contractor can pour the usual 4 inch slab. Tree Trimming also called tree pruning is a common form of tree maintenance that insures the health and beauty of a tree. This procedure extends to several aspects of individual tree care. One method is the removal of sucker growth from the trunk all the way to the crown. When nutrients move up the tree through the cambium layer just under the bark, they have a tendency to be sucked up by heavy sucker growth on the way up.
Cabling is something that is performed usually as a precautionary measure against future limb stress. Straps are placed around the limbs and turn buckles are used to tighten metal cables attached to main trunks. Though some people have had us cable limbs with cracks that have already appeared we do not recommend cabling in a situation of that sort.

What you are going to find with most tree services is that they feel that they have done a good job when the tree or limbs are safely on the ground. Not much attention is paid to cleanup. Let me just say this; 20 years into this business it dawned on me that no matter how dangerous the job was, I would be judged by my finished cleanup.
Usually emergency work means that the tree is already down, usually uprooted and on a house, fence or other structure. Having worked many hurricanes, tornadoes, and straight-line winds, we have become expert at handling these tenuous situations without doing further damage. Sometimes a crane will have to be pressed into service but many times these trees can be taken down without the customer or insurance company having to bear that expense.

I had one tree struck by lightning and one that was rotten at the base. They showed up and gave me an excellent quote to drop the trees, and made me feel like a valued person rather than a profit. Really nice and very professional in their work. The owner knows what he’s doing and his workers are fast and efficient. If I could give more stars I would. I had a large Sweetgum tree slowing dying and it stood between our telephone line and our electric power line. Steve and his crew did an amazing job of taking it down limb by limb and finally the main trunk, hauling it all to the curb so that his large truck with the grapple hooks could pick it all up cleanly. After they had picked up and removed all the branches, they then raked the yard and removed all signs that they had been there. An amazing and very professional job.

I still cant figure out how these guys were able to pack so much value in to our tree removal. They were early. They were fast. They were safe. They were professional. In short I can't imagine any other tree service beating these folks. When they were done they blew off my roof and made sure the entire yard was clean of any evidence, that there had ever been two pine trees in the yard.

Steve and his team arrived early on the day they said they would. He had already previously given us a very reasonable quote for the work project. The team immediately went to work after making sure they understood what we wanted and taking appropriate precautions to make sure their equipment would not damage any of our property. In a very short time they had completed the trimming and pruning. Steve ensured we were pleased with the job and finished up the project. Dear Lord, wish there were six stars to give. Steve and his helper, Marvin, are truly magic. ...I had been waiting three weeks for another service to fulfill their obligation to cut a tree. With a building project on hold, I called Steve. He came out that very afternoon to give an estimate. He rearranged his schedule and cut the tree down the next morning! Although we were born and raised in Lufkin, we had moved away and were in desperate need of someone to trim overgrown trees at my mother's home. Thankfully I came across A-A Tree Service! We had a old large Magnolia tree next to our home that was slowly dying and we were concerned that it would eventually fall on our home or onto the power line which was also close by. This company is amazing. I got an estimate and they came out a few hours later and cut the huge limbs from my tree. They were so nice, super organized, and did the job safely. This was the best experience with tree cutters I have ever had. I will definately be calling them again for any future tree cutting needs.
