I have just talked with their receptionist she should learn hoe to treat customer.She didn't say hi and she was talking very fast I think she wanted to go the bathroom or something. She was so rude. I asked her if I can ask her question she said we are closed but she picked up the phone they were open it was at 3 ;30 pm. I asked her if they can call me back she said we dont do that .she hinged me up while I was still talking . it was less than in 2 mints .What a bad company .

We have used J & D Painting several times in the past. We recently contracted with them again to do interior painting, including kitchen cabinets.
J and D's crew arrived punctually and it was pleasure to have them here to do the job. They worked extremely well together and there were never any issues. They went above and beyond in transforming our house.

J and D painting did a great job painting the exterior of my house. Daniel came to give me an estimate. What a gentleman, and very professional. The crew showed up on time early every day. Cleaned up before they left. What I liked was, they would come and ask me my preferences on specific areas. They let me know they were here, and let me know when they were leaving. Very nice crew.

We hired J&D painting to paint the exterior of our 2-storey house and are very happy about their service.
The crew of 4 showed up on time everyday and worked together well as a team. They were polite, courteous, and easy to communicate with. They never showed any annoyance when some small imperfections were pointed out, they just gladly fixed them.

We ultimately didn't go with Harold, but we were thoroughly impressed when dealing with his firm and their follow-through. So many times during our dealings with contractors, we've dealt with people who showed up habitually late, didn't show up at all, or just plain didn't do what they said they would do.
I work in Marin County and the traffic is horrible getting home to the East Bay. I couldn't make it home at a reasonable time to meet Harold, but he offered to visit my home without

J&D painting did a wonderful job painting the entire exterior of my home including all trim, railings and gazebo. They are prompt and expeditious in their work. They are very careful about masking off areas while painting. The finished product is beautiful. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing exterior and interior painting.

I got several estimates and then had to downsize my project to fit it in my budget. J&D staff were patient and responded promptly to all my communications, though I'm sure I seemed like a flake at times. The guys who did the painting were really friendly and worked quickly on a challenging job - high ceilings, lots of peeling paint and damaged drywall and lots and lots of masking. I can't recommend them highly enough. I am not usually a 5-star person but they deserve it!

When we wanted to get our house painted, we asked several friends for referrals. Most friends were not too happy with their last painting job. However, one friend recommended J&D Painting for interior painting, so we hired them to paint our house from inside, and they did not disappoint!
Our bedroom closet has multiple shelves built-into-walls. I liked the way the painters dismantled all shelves; painted the closet; and at the end of the day, installed all those shelves back in place!
Our doors before painting were oily/ugly. Our doors now look renewed and attractive!

Very happy with the results. The job was done as good as, or better than I expected. They started on time and they finished on time as Harold said they would. Price was within my pre-conceived idea. They use high quality paint. I would recommend them to my friends, and would hire them again if I had the need. When I came home after they finished, there was no mess left for me to clean-up.

Underspray. Overspray. Not cleaning before painting. Forgotten doors and closets. Painting over plumbing. Some of his crew was great, but others just plain yelled at me for asking why they painted over dirt and cobwebs. After the 5th or 6th time I had to call them back to fix their own work, I just had enough and did it myself.
And to top it off, they listed me as a satisfied customer reference without even asking me.

I only needed a small bathroom painted but I am extremely happy with the excellent job J&D Painting did. A couple of spots on the wall were cracked and peeling and the repair they made is invisable no matter how hard I look. Harold was very patient working within my schedule. They take extreme care in masking and covering everything up before they start. I can't find a speck or spatter of paint anywhere. I have a few other areas in my house that also need attention and Harold will definitely be getting all of my future painting business.
