Yankee Remodeler employs a staff of over 35 tradespersons and related professionals. We are proud of our team's longevity, with many employees having 10, 20, and 30 years of service! Additionally, the majority of our trade's employees have over 20 years of trades experience in the field. Each summer, we hold a picnic celebrating our employee's hard work and dedication.
It all started in 1971, with Harry Mantzaris and Fred Bolles, founders and original proprietors of Yankee Remodeler of New London, Inc. Their vision for Yankee Remodeler was to remodel and paint quality homes. When they opened the doors, they primarily serviced residential customers. As time went on, they expanded into light commercial and industrial projects, which has grown into a large percentage of our business today.
As a general contractor, Yankee Remodeler manages all of our projects from start to finish. We have partnerships with more than 60 subcontractors to meet all of our customers' needs. Our work often exceeds the standards set by each contract document. At Yankee Remodeler, we have a talented team of carpenters, painters and laborers, as well as, a team of millwork masters who custom build and complete finish work in our on-site woodshop. Our staff is supported by professional estimators/project managers, and administrative personnel.
Check out this new cable rail, clear dome roof hatch and vinyl decking membrane that we just installed. It allows access to a great view overlooking the roof tops! This home was originally built in the 1700's. The scope of the project was to increase the size of the living room by adding a 8'x24' addition on the back of the house.

Completely unprofessional. I requested the workers that were working on the building to wear a mask while in our private business (due to city mandate and store requirements) They completely ignored me. The owner of the building (an 80 year old who is high risk nonetheless) also told the workers to wear masks and they blatantly disregarded her as well. Get employees that actually care about their clients and are more professional.
