Arielle comes from a family of design: her great-grandfather, Eman Masin opened Masin's Furniture during the 1930s which later grew into one of the finest furniture stores in the Seattle area.Her grandfather was an illustrator for Disney in its early days and her mother is a painter. Having grown up around art, Arielle deepened her knowledge by earning a BA in art history from the University of Washington.
