This is the second time weve used Black plumbing and they have definitely earned themselves a customer for life! We had an unexpected plumbing issues tonight and they were quick and efficient. These guys are awesome! The technician arrived quickly and assessed our problem and took the time to answer all of our questions. He was very friendly and informative! We love that Black plumbing offers emergency plumbing services for those unforseen and unexpected plumbing issues! We are so thankful and appreciative of Black plumbing!!

Had problems with toilet leaking. The gentlemen that came out did a wonderful job repairing the problem. We decided to have a new toilet put in so they picked one up for us and put the new one in. The gentlemen were very professional and kind. Will recommend to others about how professionals they are and what a great job they did.

This is our first experience with Black Plumbing and we were 100% pleased. Their employees, Tyler and Justin, were very efficient and professional in locating our leak and repairing it in a day’s time. We will certainly recommend them. Few years ago I had a sewer back up day after Christmas. Idiots tried going in through the roof on a mobile home before spending 3 hours unclogging via the clean out. Then put everyone with my address in collections. Almost $1,000. Avoid them at all costs.

I just want to say thank you Jeff. Most of the time when you call for help, people can be very rude and not explain exactly what they are about to do. Not in this case Jeff was very easy to talk to, he explained everything to me to where it was easy to understand and he even fixed another pipe that was wrongfully put and he didn't have to let me know. He could've just fixed what he came for and left but he didn't and I'm very grateful. He is truly a good honest guy and I really appreciate it. Once again THANK YOU, JEFF.

Each time the Black Plumbing team has visited, they have done amazing. ✔ I've had a few encounters with the same techs and they have all been professional, experienced and committed to resolving my issues. Clayton and his two techs today (I forgot one of their names), Bob, Santos and Jeffrey previously are all excellent service technicians. Would highly recommend and will always call Black Plumbing!

Came to fix a stopped up pipe and didnt.. charged me 300..
Told me it would be 8000 to fix..
Hired a different plumber that fixed it for 2000..

We had an issue with possibly our water heater. We had water leaking out on the floor in a closet, into the garage, under our freezers. Also seeping into our 1/2 bath. We called them Saturday morning, and got a lady that said she will try to call the person on call to get someone out and they will call us back. It is now over 30 hours later, and no one called. I guess they don't want our business again. 24x7 service? Not true. We will not give them our business again most likely due to this.

I've used this company in Abilene & San Angelo. They are big enough to do most any job and they have saved us more than once. There are times I have to say no on their estimates for work because they are not the most affordable, but the times I have used them and bit the bullet on price, I was happy with the work.

UPDATE: Spoke with owner Darrin Black. He said my review was slander. Along with calling me a hypocrite for stating I'm a Christian on FB. He also made jabs about my posts because posting this review I wasn't being Christian-like. He told me that I should be ashamed of myself and shame on me for posting the review. I read one of his 1 star reviews on FB and apparently I'm not the only one that the word slander is thrown at. No true reputable professional, Christian or not, would speak at people like I was spoken to. I was going to remove my review after we agreed to disagree. Then

We've used Black Plumbing for several years with good results, but recently their plumbers are too inexperienced. The experienced ones we trusted have left. So after another visit where the clogged drain was still clogged, we called Midway and got experience...worth the extra cost!

Had a problem with one end of my sewer line which a toilet, a shower, lavatory and washing machine connect. I'm too old to fix these problems myself as I had done the original plumbing, but that was over 35 years ago. So, I made the mistake of calling these guys. I thought they were professionals and after problem after problem they finished two days later and presented me with a 2,500 dollar bill. I wrote them check, they went on their way. I recently had my clean out snaked to clear out unwanted toilet paper and debris. The day before my washing machine had run over into the floor and flooded some of my carpet. I was able to shop vac and dry it up, so i called on Black Plumbing. Worst idea possible. After most the day to snake a clean out, they told me all debris was cleaned out and it was clear. Not being plumber savvy, I assumed when they did a job it was done right. I assumed too much. That night my pea trap to my washing machine clogged and flooded my house. All my carpet ruined. I was very happy with the service we received! We had originally spoke with Mr. Rooter who had continually put us off, didn't show up twice, and were very rude! I called Black Plumbing and they were out within 30 min and had us fixed up within a few hours. I will def use them from now on!

If I could give 0 stars I would! You guys are a bunch of frauds! Charge an unreasonable amount for a job and don't even successfully complete the job! Now we have just as much if not more problems! Try to get you guys to come back out and you claim we will now have to pay double because it was after hours! How in the heck does this even sound right!?! I can guarantee me and my family will NEVER go through you guys again, and you can expect me to recommend the same to others through reviews and word of mouth. If I could give them no stars I would. Called and told them 2 days prior to the service call it was possibly a heating element in a hot water heater. They arrived 2 days later late in the day and let me know that the heater has totally failed. Can't install another one for 6 days! Charge me 165 for their diagnosis. Such a waste of my time!

The work they did was acceptable but they are waaaaaayyyyy overpriced. So overpriced, I couldn't even give them 3 stars for work well done. I've used other plumbers in Abilene who did a great job and charged a fair price. I should have stuck with them.

I never had any problems in the past with these guys. I called them about fixing 2 toilets. I thought this would be an easy fix. They came out one day and then it was over a week before they came again. They finally got the problem fixed and they only charged me for one days work. They would have gotten more stars if it hadn't taken so long to fix what I thought was an easy fix.

These guys used to be 4 or 5 stars. I used them for years. They still show up when expected... Mostly. Often call to come earlier or let you know if they'll be late.

I had them replace two water heaters. They immediately exhibited electrolysis and rust at the connections. They came out to repair it once, but after the same issue recurred, they were very clear that their warranty was out and they could order the parts and charge me $100 per hour to fix it. Since I have no confidence in their abilities, I'll go with someone else to pay $100 per hour. Why would I pay them to fix something
