Was let go do to having the same last name as a family member who got fired is what I was told by one of the people in charge.
Really wanted to come back and work for them. So talked to a few of the higher ups.
Was lead to believe I could come back to work the following week.
Paid for a hotel room for a week and came back the following week which is a 6 hour trip one way.
Waited to talk to someone on Monday from 7am-4pm just to find out that they weren’t going to hire me back.
When I asked why I wasn’t told sooner, no one could give a straight answer.
The dirt superintendent blamed it
