A licensed architect and graduate architectural engineer, Jay Jay taught architecture at Cal-Poly, and worked with such notable companies and people as: Walt Disney, DMJM in Hawaii, Barry Burkus of Environmental Systems, Inc., Stu Kerr in California, Holien and Buckley, Philippe Register, and Urban Weidner in Santa Fe, NM.

On October 10, 2013 I met Jay Jay Shapiro and Lorenzo Rudy DelGado of Visual Concepts, LLC at my house on Canyon Road. Jay Jay said he had some ideas for this old house that was built around 1934. They impressed me with the vision they already had formulated in their heads of the transformation of an 800 square foot, almost derelict structure,… into a spacious, modern house. I knew I found the right company to take on the biggest endeavor of my life. I signed their contract February 14, 2014. Fast forward one year later and to say I was pleased with the end result of that vision is an understatement
