This place is horrible with customer service, pricing and policy!!! I rented a carpet stretcher for a day. Was told to bring back around the same time Tmrrw. I did that but I was I hour late so they charged me for a additional day $49.95. And I agreed to pay but wanted to take the stretcher the extra day I was being charged for and they refused. They didn’t specify what time the stretcher needed to be returned nor the late fee, which is actually a audition day. Not to mention there prices are double then most places. Unprofessional and lack management skills I wouldn’t rent from universal EVER

Very poor customer service....my mom rented a piece of equipment from them...it did not work properly and the man on phone was extremely rude to her about it...did not accommodate her for it by any means. When it was a hour drive there just one way and was told by lady at store they don't rent that piece of equipment out anyway. Then why in the hell did u rent it out like seriously...u people are a waste of time and horrible customer service...would not recommend to anyone..

We renter a chain saw from them for just small backyard stuff and within 1 hour the chain came off 6 times . We were told error of the user . Rude when we took it back on Sunday morning and I called on Monday and didn't get anywhere when I talked to someone else. I'm sorry but my husband and son in law have used chain saw for years.

Called to get a price, Shelly quoted me one. Went to pick it up, guy behind counter tripled the price, then doubted my quote. Asked if we could contact Shelly, and was told that's the owners "old lady" and was in a meeting and was unavailable. As the poor attitude and customer service continued, he suddenly found the right price. I asked for a one day rental, was told I had to have the equipment back at 8am the next morning or I'd be charged another day. Then proceeded to point to the sign that stated so, as if I was unable to read. Fyi: A simple hello, a smile, and a thank you goes a long ways

I have never known a business to be so rude. After having a bad experience with secretary in Big Rapids I called owner in Cadillac and he was just was Rude. We rented a machine for 20 hours and could only use it for cpl hours their equipment kept falling apart. Then when you call them they yell at you . Was very very Rude !!! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone

On dec 27th I returned a transit that was broken ( it was when we rented it and the owner knew this )He snapped at us because we wanted a credit on the charge . This guy them tried to jump over the counter and continued to both assault and batter me . He then followed us out to the parking lot and here an employee and him both committed another assault on me . I called 911 and have filed 3 counts of assault and 1 count of battery against him and his employee .He even picked up the transit and tried to hit me with it . Then we found out he committed credit card fraud by adding double charges to

Rented close to around $900.00 worth of product from Cadillac store...the mechanical bull, bounce slide and chairs.. Bull was all ready broken but usable, (i was told) only worked half of the time. Bull would just shut down, then work again later. Not at all worth what I paid for. Bull rental is quite a chunk of change and should at least run properly. Would really appreciate some sort of refund on part of my cost. Very disappointed..

"Sorry about that, things happen" is this company's motto. Rented a Skytrak and it was supposed to be here Thursday afternoon so we could start work early Friday morning. They called Thursday afternoon to tell us the truck they were using to haul it was broken down and it wouldn't be here until noon Friday. Noon Friday came and went, still no equipment. We had to frantically search for another company to deliver on a Friday afternoon. A day's work lost, not dependable. If I could I would give negative stars not for just the equipment not showing up but for the attitudes
