Moving? Beware…
Paul Schwartz and Paul Levine of Bekins/Maffucci Moving and Storage in Amityville, NY are cheats. We received a quote to move of $8,050. They claimed that we used that just to move out of our house. They then wanted to bill us additional funds. They asked for pre-approval to bill our account and asked that we do not fill in the… price…mistake number 2. After declining to pay them more, they billed our account an additional $2,000. While they had no authorization to bill another account of ours, they billed it an additional $3,700. We have since stopped all payments

Bekins moving and storage loses many boxes and the ones you get are damaged. They circle any of the boxes that are missing to make it look like they delivered them. I guess my missing boxes “fell off the truck “ and probably found a home in movers homes. When they picked up my stuff they filled the empty moving van to the brim yet when they delivered my stuff it was one of three other deliveries in the van. Avoid this company at all costs if you want to get all your things

This is the shadiest moving company you can get. DO NOT USE THEM! They quoted us 11k and final cost was 18k. Not only did they come to my house inspect everything prior to moving to give me that quote they saw… two other quotes from other companies that were at least 4K higher. They wanted the contract so they LIED to get it and then almost doubled the price. Not to mention it’s been a month and my stuff still has not been delivered

I’ve used Mafucci in the past for interstate moving and they’ve always proven to be a step above the rest! I just moved about an hour North of NYC and I must say the move was smooth! Absolutely the worst moving and storage company. Multiple items were broken, taken apart, and ruined. They opened wardrobe boxes, stuffing large items into each box causing damage to clothing. They claimed damage was done in storage unit and they are not responsible for that. If you want your move to go smoothly, do not use Maffucci!

Maffucci moving for Bekins was amazing! My family is moving from Long Island NY to Denver CO and from the beginning of the process this company has been nothing but wonderful. Professional, ontime and very hardworking. We had 3 movers , a driver and a driver helper and each one was great. We have nothing but confidence in the driver Mike to get out… stuff to CO safely. Actual total for this huge move was right on target with our estimate also! Got quotes from another mover before choosing Bekins and it was astronomical and owner was rude. If you have to move use maffucci for bekins!

Maffucci Moving was extremely helpful and went above and beyond their responsibilities. We had a complicated move with multiple locations and they accommodated every part of the move. After the entire move, they even stayed for an extra 30 minutes to help my mother move a piece of furniture from our basement to the upstairs bedroom. Would definitely hire again!

We recently moved from Long Island to Florida and used Maffucci for our move. This is a 5 star company. They made our move so much less stressful because of their professionalism. They were punctual, got the job done on both ends quickly and efficiently and all our stuff arrived in top notch condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company whether you're moving locally or long distance.
