When you think about cooling a hot building, you probably don't think of heat pumps. In fact, the words "air conditioner" are likely the first things that come to your head. As it turns out, a heat pump can both heat and cool, and in some applications, it's preferred to separate heating and cooling systems.
A furnace works to keep a home warm in the winter and plays a critical part in the operation of an air conditioning system. Furnaces produce heat through the combustion of natural gas, oil or propane in the furnace's burner. The heat produced from this process then passes through a heat exchanger. Air from your home's return air ducts is blown over the heat exchanger, thus warming the air.
Many houses are supplied with heat by a boiler, and heating your house is the most energy intensive thing you do. So having your boiler operate efficiently is really worthwhile. A boiler operates by burning natural gas, oil, or propane to heat water that circulates through hot water cylinders, radiators, or under-floor systems (radiant floor heating).

Just like Wally below in the reviews I have used them for years and am disappointed. Service person shows up with nothing to work on the unit and starts giving excuses to why the job will not be done on a Friday afternoon so I asked them to just leave. Called "the manager" who acted like a child when I told her what happened, not wanting to deal with an ignorant person I hung up and am now looking for a new company.

I have used this company going on 7 years. I tolerated them not showing up for an appointment to always having to call them to remind them they were supposed to give an estimate for repairs needed...never heard from them. I found out that the service tech that came to service my system never cleaned the unit in the house for AC which I pay. Tech finally came to do the repair needed only did half of what needed done. Now I have a small gas leak. My husband called and left 2 messages saying we had a leak and nothing but crickets from them! Had a different company come out to try to repair but couldn
