We bought new home construction in Gulfport and our building contractor utilized Southern Exterior Fence Co. to build our perimeter fence. The fence was poorly constructed (value/quality) for the following reasons:
(1) The fence bottom was not the required height off the ground which allowed water to soak and rot the bottom of the fence boards.
(2) The Fence posts were not evenly spaced in the normal 8-10ft intervals. They were greater than 12ft apart in come areas which caused the fence to begin leaning in the course of less than a year.
(3) The cement anchors were not properly set. The concrete

The first photos show the damage left behind by Hurricane Zeta. The second group shows my new fence, installed in two days by Southern Exteriors. Treated lumber, posts set into concrete. Notice how nice and clean my yard is now. Those men didn't have to clean it up; they were contracted only to remove the old fencing, but they went above and beyond. This is my second fence installed by Southern Exterior, and the first one, after 12 years, would still be standing if not for Zeta. Highly recommend.

Called them to repair hurricane damage since they built the original fence. Office staff was so incredibly nice on calls and the onsite team was very efficient and considerate at estimate appointment as well as the guys that did the repair work. They even discounted for gate supports that weren't installed originally. They worked very fast and my fence is now even more secure than before. This team is by far the most courteous staff I've come across in MS! Thanks to all for such caring treatment and great work.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!!!This company put a fence in our backyard and backed the fence with a one year warranty, however as our one year approached (july 2019)we had many boards that were warped and turned and needing to be replaced. My husband called and spoke to Jason and was assured it would be taken care of...a month went by, no call no warranty work done...my husband called and spoke to Rance and asked him to please repair the boards that out warranty covered and Rance stated he would come out that week and take care of it, however it was never done and we never received a call... my husband called
