I studied business administration in college with an aptitude as an entrepreneur. I enjoyed breaking up the studies while working outside in construction and a desire to start my own company. Must be a throwback to working in the garden with my father who was an attorney and do it yourselfer. After various jobs in offices and restaurants, I contracted to paint houses enjoying the freedom and instant gratification.
During the Great Recession I started mowing grass with another business owner, purchased that company in 2012, and expanded services and client list. I enjoy the reciprocal income of this needed service in the Lake Norman area north of Charlotte. Both my parents taught me Midwest work ethic values I applied to paint contracting for 25 years and currently to Kauffman Lawn Care.
My logo looks like the entrance to the Ancient Kauffman Farm from Switzerland, so my grandfathers are watching, and the journey continues. I take pride in all my work paying close attention to detail. I treat your property like its my own, improving it, adding value, and easing the burden of hard work on those hot summer days, or cold days when you don't want to rake leaves.
