After meeting with several different contractors my wife and I decided to use RJD construction for our project. We met with the owner Richie and told him what we were looking to do.He provided a design that we loved and his prices were fair. 1) Finish a job that you start. Don't leave to one job to start another.
2)When the homeowners ask you to wear a mask when you're in their home, don't argue. Just wear a mask.
3) Yelling and screaming at the homeowners is not a professional way to conduct business.
4) Don't do plumbing work and electrical work if you aren't licensed to do so.
5) IF you are going to do the plumbing and electrical work, make sure you pay the people whose licensing you're looking to use so the proper permits can be supplied and the work can be finished.

I hired RJD to renovate my kitchen, bathroom, floors and some miscellaneous electrical and plumbing work I needed done at the suggestion of a long time family friend. Unlike other contractors i have dealt with Rich, the owner, was very responsive, timely and gave us some great suggestions on the layout and colors. they came on the date and time we agreed on and the job was done 3 days ahead of schedule. any changes that needed to be made were bought to our attention and any issues we perceived were quickly taken care of. I hired RJD Construction but had to cancel-went into there office to give them the curtesy to cancel. Mike said the company would mail me back my $270.00 deposit in 10 business day....which I thought was ok since I only hired them the day before. I received the check-deposit and then it BOUNCED! what the heck? Not right NOT fair NOT good business people. Think before hiring they are not professional.

Absolutely amazing experience with Rich and his crew. Rich responded immediately, super reasonable estimate, offered up an extreme knowledge of all aspects of construction and quick turn around time for the job!! All the things I was looking for. As a female, I feel that sometimes hiring a contractor can be very intimidating but not this time! Trust me, you will not be disappointed. RJD recently remodeled my homes basement....professional and courteous from start to finish.....showed up on time for first meeting and when they were finished with the project cleaned up as if they were never there..finished ahead of schedule too. Project included new entrance, new kitchen and bathroom as well. Made us feel as much a part of the project as we wanted and steered us in the right direction while selecting all materials.

I had my kitchen remodeled in the fall. I have to say it came out beautifully, better then I ever expected. The owner and his staff were amazing. Rich came up with ideas my husband and I would never of thought of (very detailed). Job was complete 3 weeks before schedule. Just in time for thanksgiving. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get any type of remodeling done to there home or business.
