What started as a basic neighborhood summer mowing job for Ken Lambert, owner and operator of Kenlawn Company, back in 1983, has now developed into one of the highly respected premier lawn and landscape service companies in the Twin Cities. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, with a degree from the Carlson School of Management, Ken continued with the success of this small company and began to expand the business yearly.
Now, 30 years later, Kenlawn employs 12 crew members, along with Ken, that serve hundreds of residential and several commercial properties on a weekly basis. Through those years, multiple services were added, and continue to be added, to supply its client base with a vast array of lawn/landscape/snow removal offerings along with several diverse specialty services.

SPRING CLEANUP: An initial spring startup service performed during the month of April which includes: General removal of branches, twigs, and pine cones. Power blowing debris off of turf areas, out of shrubbery, rock beds, and window wells. Initial bagged mowing to lift up matted grass and hauling of yard waste.
PREMIER PLUS LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM: This progam is in addition to our regular mowing service. Whether you are planning a party or you want to keep your landscaping looking it's best all season, try out this complete maintenance program. This service is done twice throughout the growing season (June/Sept) unless you notify us otherwise.

We offer a dependable service with salaried employees on call for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our snow services are offered on a flat monthly rate plan for a four month period (December thru March). This worry free service allows you to budget your season with us. Whether it snows 1 time or 10 times during the month, your monthly rate remains the same.

Tried for a week to hire these clowns - after the “office manager” sent me multiple emails that had nothing to do with my request I finally get a rude email from the owner telling me to take my business elsewhere. Don’t worry, Ken, you won’t get any of my money! What a pathetic joke of a business.

Been using them for fall cleanup and a couple of mowings when away. My neighbors have used them for 20 years +. Fast and usually very good but slipped in the fall of 2016. The last two fall cleanups they were blowing all the mulch out of our gardens (when asked to be careful), and had to be reminded to clean into lot line edge as asked the last two of 5 seasons. In 2016 they came a day after snow and sleet and the equipment tore up our front yard and we had to repair in the spring and I know for a fact that our neighbors had to have them come fix theirs for the same reason the year before.... using

We have employed Kenlawn to clear our snow for at least 4 years. They're organized, quick, accurate, quiet, and polite. They also clean our yard in both fall and spring. They work like a swarm of worker bees. It's such a pleasure to see them do what it would take us days. We're thinking of having them cut the grass, too. No complaints.
