Garage Door Star

Had a roll up garage door spring break leaving me unable to get my car out of the garage. I called garage door star and Sam arrived in two hours as he said he would. He did the replacement spring and brackets installation in less than an hour. Price seemed reasonable. Service was great.

My garage door spring broke. The called Garage Door Star the next day and they came out and replaced it very quickly. No problems or hassles at all. Would recommend.

Sam was super responsive to my call. When he arrived, he thoroughly assessed the situation and gave me a detailed explanation about what was causing my problem with my garage door. He provided his professional opinion as to the best course of action to resolve the issue, taking into consideration the age of my garage door opener (circa 2005) and spring (circa 2001). Ultimately, he replaced both my garage door opener and the spring in a very timely and efficient manner. He was a pleasure to deal with and was very professional and knowledgeable. We got new doors and openers installed for our 3-car garage. I got my usual 3 quotes for the project and found that Sam was the easiest to coordinate with and his prices are reasonable by comparison. Sam was very responsive and helpful in providing options without being pushy. He estimated a week but installed within a few days. The team that came out, led by Mado, worked efficiently. The doors look great and openers are so much quieter than our old ones (circa 1990s). I would recommend Garage Door Star!

Sam did an awesome job. Called him in the morning and he was there within a couple hours to fix the springs on my garage door and it took him about 30 minutes to complete it. Very reasonable pricing as well.

Answers the phone quickly and extremely responsive! Sam Spivak was super nice and professional. Came to fix my garage the same day after my car trunk opened up and hit the garage denting the retainer. Luckily didnt have to replace entire garage. Affordable reasonable price. Sam is certainly a garage door expert and we are glad we came across him when our garage door stopped working, it has been a while since we wanted to fix that door. He did a terrific job in replacing the garage door motor and related equipment with a new updated one in no time at all. He was able to do this the same day we called him to come over. The garage door is so quiet now every time it is opened and closed, we love it!

I asked for a quote from several providers. Sam's response stood out. He has an idea what might be wrong based on what I described the problem is and quoted a flat rate right away.

He arrived in time and very professional. I explained what's wrong and he gave a diagnosis after a few test.

Less than an hour after, the garage door is up and working. He even sprayed the hinges with lube, gave us warranty and left us satisfied with his work.

I called one evening because the springs broke and could no longer open the door. I didn't expect a call back till the morning. I was surprised to get a call soon after and Sam said he could be out the next morning, Great!!
Sam was easy to work with and replaced the springs and door seal. He checked and lubed the door and it was quieter than any time I lubed the door. It has been a few months now and everything still works great. Sorry Sam for the late review And thanks for the fast response and great work!

I have a very old garage... the old heavy door finally died, so I searched local garage door repairs services in my area. I came across a few, called to get quotes, and Sam seemed very knowledgeable on the phone, so I told him to come over when he can. Sam advised of the correct way to install a new door instead of the old one, and the very next day I had a new garage door placed! It’s quite exiting to use the new remote, thank you Sam!

I called technician Sam from Garage Door Star because I was having an issue with my garage door sensor and remote. He replaced the sensors and also replaced my remote. The rate charged was fair and I would definitely use Garage Door Star again. Thank you. Great work and follow-up.
