I just completed an installation with solar source at my home in orange county. After investigating several solar companies, Bryan at solar source was the MOST responsive and worked hard to figure out what was best for me and develop an affordable solution. There was no hard-core sales push like everybody else and I didn't feel like I was being pushed through some type of solar sales machine. I highly recommend these guys. It has been over two years since we had 24 solar panels installed at our home in Belmont Shore. Choosing Solar Source was one of the best decisions we could've ever made. I love the look of our home and did not want to "see" the solar panels from the street. We used to pay over $400 per month in the summer while running the air conditioning. It has been 5 years now since our 18 panel solar system install and it has held up very well, still producing more power than we need every day :-)
Bryan and team did an excellent job on recommending the right hardware (panels, micro-inverters etc) and installing it beautifully on our rather steep roof.
Little details like running the cables under the eves in a way where they don't impact the historic character of our house as well as providing a back-up generator hook-up at the same time were all part of a great experience.

Brian was very responsive and professional. His quote was detailed and explained everything. I had made earlier mistakes in my construction of a new house and, it turned out, I was too far along in the permitting process to change contractors. I wish I had thought to contact Solar Source at the beginning. I would have been much more satisfied with the results.

I received about 6 bids for solar installation at our home in Laguna Hills. We opted to replace our roof at the same time we installed the solar and our wonderful roofer (Jay at Pacific Crest Roofing) referred me to two solar companies, including Solar Source. I've got nothing but good things to say about Solar Source. After taking a couple of other quotes for solar, including one from Peterson Dean, which was quite expensive, I decided to call a local provider in Long Beach, Solar Source. The Solar Source rep, Bryan came out right away and spent a good long while with me explaining the various options and the difference in having DC lines with a single converter vs having micro-invertors to convert power to AC on each panel. Finished installing solar panels on our roof and an electricity panel this month done by Solar Source. Installation went as planned. Bryan Amburgey was in charge and meticulous in getting plans ready, permissions, scheduling installation, city inspections, answering questions through texts, getting monitoring app set. Overall process went well. Electricians and dry wall contractors for electricity panel job finished their work timely and were decent. Overall it was a professionally well executed job.

Being a well informed consumer, I interviewed with three different solar providers, Tesla included, and the process seemed about the same for all providers. Yet Solar source stood out to me as being the most honest about the panel leasing, and the salesperson, Bryan, was not pushy or aggressive in any way, just there to sell some panels if you wanted them, polite if you didn't. Solar source is a local company with local owner and they did a great job. My work had their solar panels done by solar source off my recommendation and they were very pleased as well. Going solar can be a nerve recking experience. Brian was awesome he was never pushy nor trying to push you into making a purchase. He was patient and explained every process and took the time to answer all the questions I had. The installation team was great also. They explained the process and took the time to listen to our needs. In addition they took there time and ensuring all was done right. I sold my business to retire and had a big tax gain and needed a tax deduction so I decided to install panels for the tax credit. The job had to be finished before year end because I didn't need any tax credits the next year. I selected a large, highly rated solar company in my area to do the job. Solar Source was a little cheaper and seemed OK, so they were my second choice. But the big company, despite all their sophistication and fancy estimating technology was very slow in getting back to me about what was and wasn't required in terms of permits, was trenching necessary or not

I've been really happy with Solar Source. I hired them to do installations at my home and at my business location. We've had a few hiccups with Edison in getting everything set up and Solar Source has been with me every step of the way in working to get things on track. I feel like Jarrod and his team are looking out for what's best for me and that I can count on the company down the road if I need their help.

The fear of the unknown kept me from getting solar for a long time. I finally made the jump after seeing a good friend of mine had solar on his house. My representative, Mike, was great. He was very hands-on with everything and walked me through the process step by step. Being an LADWP customer, there were a few more hoops to jump through, but we did it and got the switch turned to Solar. I am now 2 bills in with my solar panels and I have paid the forced minimum charge of $22 per bill for my 1st 2 bills. I'm looking forward to my next $22 electrical bill.

Got a great system installed by these guys for a very reasonable price. Very clean install, and the guys were very professional. I worked with Mike Tockstein, who kept me apprised of every stage in the process. I can't recommend this company enough. They took care of me, and I'm going to be benefitting from this transaction for the next 40 or 50 years. Thanks Solar Source. PS. Do your research and find a way to purchase the system.
