A local and family owned full service furniture business since 1959. At the young age of 22, Nick Rose started Rose Brothers Furniture in Goldsboro and as he grew the business Mr. Rose expanded to La Grange in 1984 - opening Down East Furniture. Today it is still family owned and operated by Nick's son, Andy and Andy's son, Van.

We offer thousands of products, styles and colors so you can have the perfect furniture for that special room. Do you offer discounts? We have been searching for months for the perfect dining room table. We’ve literally been to about a dozen different stores and found nothing of good quality for the right price. But we found the absolute perfect set at Down East. When we got home and started putting it together, we encountered a couple of issues. When I called them they asked for pictures of our problems and within the hour I got a call back saying we could exchange the problem chair with one on the showroom floor. The other issue with all four chairs they worked on them and fixed two of the chairs and let us exchange the ones

Wow after looking all over New Bern, Jacksonville and Havelock and Kinston I was about to give up on new living room furniture but they made it so easy and Steve was extremely helpful and listened to what we really needed! The price was great, delivery ON TIME and undamaged (we actually got one not half as nice at twice the price in Jax and NOW I am happy it was so damaged we refused it). It looks fantastic and the love it .....thanks guys! we WILL be back!
