Scardino Doors was wonderful from the very beginning to the end. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We shopped around for a bit at first and once we understood what was available and the various prices we chose Scardino. Holly helped us pick out our design by showing us samples that fit our architecture and tastes. Then they tweaked the design to make it our own.
Once the door was ready they worked with us to schedule the install and showed up right on time. They were very careful removing our old door and sidelights and transom. They were leaded glass so they took extra time to keep

The townhouse we bought several years ago already had imported exterior doors with multi-point locks. The locking mechanism on some of the doors became inoperable over time, and we recently had Tom Scardino come evaluate the issue. The company was easy to work with in setting up the appointment, and Tom was extremely nice and knowledgable when he was in our home examining the troublesome doors, pointing out to us why the locks were not engaging. He thought his repairman would have to remove the locking systems from the problem doors and perhaps use replacement parts, so the offer to do the repair

Well, I wish I could report better but I simply cannot. Wasted many hours trying to communicate with the owner, Tom, with never returning a call in a timely manner and then simply stopped responding. Also, very overpriced compared to ironworks and other like companies. There are better door companies than this with better service.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Initially we felt great about our doors. They were very, very expensive but I felt like we had made a premium purchase.

Then over time, the paint and finish begin to weather. Much more rapidly than I would have ever thought. These jack-wagons want $1,150 to refinish the doors.

Completely bogus. It's not a premium product, just a premium price.

And they've got you by the short hairs since it is a completely custom door. We may have signed up for a vicious cycle here. Man, I'm mad!

WORST ever!!! They totally ruined my iron door and now won't even fix it or compensate for the damage. Even after measuring the door opening 3 times they made the door different shape and had to cut out bunch of my trim and stucco to fit the door in. Now I am left with damaged trim and damaged stucco which will cost me additional $5k to fix. Tom scardino refuses to even acknowledge the issue. Terrible terrible ppl and service. I am so upset and hope no one uses them again because I wouldn't want anyone to go through what we did. Pics to prove the damage. You can see before pic (1st pic

I hired Scardino Doors to provide a custom door with sidelights in my loft. I chose them because they offered to provide "turn-key" service meaning they would demolish/remove the existing door and install the new door without me having to hire other contractors to complete the work.

On the positive side, the initial discussions, ordering process, CAD drawings, etc. were well done. When the door was finally ready to be installed, the trouble began. Their contractor showed up late (no big deal) but was completely unprepared for the job. It was evident that Scardino Doors had not prepared

Ordered iron doors from Tom Scardino 5 1/2 months ago. No delivery of doors and very inadequate communication. Gives installation date and then doesn't show up. Doesn't respond to builders phone calls or e-mails. Contacting BBB and lawyer today for resolution. Very poor business practices. Our builder is using Scardino for another client and they report multiple problems with that order also. Our house move in date has been delayed because we can't move in without a front door. Do not recommend!!

I do not like to write bad reviews, but in this case I will. It is apparent that any issues or defects on Iron Doors is due to installation issues. This includes paint falling off window knobs. After my third email I was told to go buy a $15 can of spray paint and fix it myself. I will not ever do business with them again.

Replaced 4 sets of French doors with iron door. Very cool that they can show you a graphic of what they will look like. Delivery time was accurate. Install took a little longer than promised but they got them done and look great. Tom the owner was very good at coming by and checking on things.

I am a very un-happy customer of Scardino Doors. Their customer service became awful once I signed the contract. The owner and his son would ignore my calls when I was trying to check on the installation dates. We were told lies about the installation date more than twice. Once they did answer my calls the owner and his son would say the installer was ill. I would NEVER recommend Scardino Doors to anyone. If you do decide to go with this company make sure you have your contract altered to collect the final payment once the installation is done. Also make sure they give you the installer&apos
