Albright Remodeling is a Rochester, NY based company, which specializes in Generations Sharing Housing and incorporating Aging in Place components into their Addition and Remodeling project designs. We are a Design-Build Company with an Architect furnished to clients as part of our service. The owner and daily operations manager both have NAHB Professional Designations as CGP, CGR, GMR, CAPS, and GMB.

There are only 11 GMB's and 3 GMR's in New York State - 2 are at Albright Remodeling! We service across a wide geographic area in the greater Rochester and Finger Lakes, New York region. Albright Remodeling specializes in all types of additions, general remodeling, and kitchen and bath renovations.

We offer design assistance via licensed architects. Our Graduate Master Builder and Certified Graduate Remodeler certifications assure you of our professionalism, knowledge, and successful track record. As a Certified Aging-in-Place (CAPS) remodeler, we specialize in universal design, handicapped access, and other innovations that allow you to remain in your own home as your needs change.

Additions Report

Uninterrupted completion of your project, on time and on budget - we are there 5 days a week until we are done! Personal service and neat, courteous, reliable performance from a stable, dependable crew. At Albright Remodeling, we are glad to sit down with a homeowner and discuss a project. We begin with an initial visit where we try to find out what a homeowner wants to accomplish.

Generations Sharing Housing Report

The majority of Additions or Remodeling projects we undertake transform single family homes into Generations Sharing Housing and/or incorporate Aging in Place concepts. Generations Sharing Housing is again becoming a popular alternative to utilizing the services of nursing homes or assisted living facilities.

Aging in Place Report

Aging-in-place means living in one's home safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of age, income or ability level. It means the pleasure of remaining in a familiar environment throughout one's maturing years. It gives you the ability to enjoy the familiar daily rituals and the special events that enrich all our lives.

Recent Projects Report

The clients on this home modification project asked us to make remodel their living space to improve accessibility. The space needed to become wheelchair accessible. The clients had two old, small cottages near each other and wanted a new cottage built on the site. They wanted to have a larger structure on their land which they plan to rent and hope to retire to in the future.

I submitted a "Contact Me" request through their website and heard from Jim pretty quickly which was promising. He asked that I contact our Town's Building Department for information on remodeling our porch and any considerations on their end which I did, as well as locating my property map. He followed up with me by phone 1-2 weeks later and we made an appointment for Jim to stop out and discuss the project / issue a quote. The day of our appointment Jim called to "confirm" and ask me for the time of the appointment and my address again. The appointment for 1-2 PM meant Jim arrived at 2 PM and

I have been involved in many building projects for my employer over the years as well as had my home remodeled and additions put on. This past fall we hired Albright Remodeling to build a new home for us.
