A few years after beginning her design career, in 1995 Kathy Shenk struck out on her own and launched her fledgling interior design business. While in the beginning she was The Best Kept Secret in Interior Design, her business grew because as it turns out, her clients weren't very good at keeping secrets.

Since we launched Interior Fancies 25 years ago, we have added capabilities and team members to enhance our offering to clients. What began as a boutique home interior design business has grown to become a full-service design firm focusing on residential, commercial, and window design projects with clients across the country.

Kathy did a wonderful job designing our renovation of a 200 year old farmhouse. She had great ideas, and was always willing to listen to our ideas and questions. She never freaked out if we wanted to change things and was always easy to reach. Her communication with our contractor was excellent and I would highly recommend her.
