The professionals at Payne and Payne guided us through every step of the process and we were kept informed of what was happening with our house. We were given a schedule at the beginning of the build and the house remained on schedule and was completed by the scheduled date.
They worked very hard to stay within our budget. When we made changes and additions they were very careful to give us the prices of additions.
Communications was great. Calls were returned promptly. Buildertrend was a great help in communication.
We were amazed at how clean the work site was kept. Floors were swept daily

Everyone with whom we came in contact was very committed to delivering exceptional value and making the experience satisfying in all respects. When asking for advice, recommendations, etc. as a novice new home buyer, everyone was very constructive and considerate of our budget, concerns, needs, etc. This did a lot to establish and sustain credibility and trust. Honest answers that considered an array of experiences by our primary contacts. Would (and have already) recommend them to anyone! We would build again and again with Payne and Payne. The process from design to completion was organized and timely. Their response time was phenomenal - any questions or changes were typically addressed within hours. They were accommodating to changes along the way and offered their expert opinion to improve the layout and design of our home. Ultimately, I got the impression that they built our house as if it was their own. We are proud to call this house our home!

Initially, I was very impressed, and I've seen a lot of builders' work since I inspect new homes. I would not hesitate to recommend one of their standard pre-built homes, it is high quality compared to most builders.
When a friend needed to build a new home I interviewed many builders. Unlike most, this company was willing to customize the home, had quality building practices due to using the same few quality contractors for all their homes, said they supervised their work, and had a decent price (not the lowest and way below the highest). The sales person was amazing, and so is the supervisor

We had very high expectations for Payne & Payne, which were exceeded. The standard of excellence and communication are big differentiators. As always, it's about the people. P&P have excellent people who are total professionals. We asked lots of questionsand plenty of advice. Without bias, P&P vetted our many questionsand offerred recommendations to consider. I think we took all the advice given. When we wanted to explore things like closed cell insulation or sourcing a craftsman to make copper roofs, they were there to sort it out for us. P&P invited collaboration and delivered great results.

It’s been over six months since our project with Payne & Payne was completed, and my wife and I are still talking about what a great experience it was and what tremendous work they did. From beginning to end, they exceeded expectations. They were always clear, open, and honest about what they could and could not do (within our budget, I mean), they were prompt, they communicated well, and they completed a kitchen renovation plus an addition on the house on time and with absolutely beautiful results.
The other thing worth noting is that our project was on the more modest end of the spectrum.

I wanted to reach out and give Payne and Payne some (very) positive feedback. As a repeat customer I was obviously very impressed with Payne and Payne when I first built with you, 18 years ago. The process has changed quite a bit and I wanted to give you high marks as a company. The design/build process is very mature and well thought out.
