These house painting pictures show just a sample of the many fine houses we have had the privilege of painting across the state of Connecticut over the last 20 years. Some of them are homes we have painted more than once. Starting in lower Fairfield county all the way to New London County and north to the top of Hartford county, there is nowhere in the state we haven't worked.
Sometimes it just makes sense to finance a project, for example if you are painting in advance of a house sale. You might also choose to finance when you are trying to get all your painting done at one time instead of in separate projects that would cost more. Whatever the reason, we are here to help.

After trying to solicit bids from about a half-dozen relatively local painting contractors (and getting only 3 responses), we settled on Custom, out of Durham, who gave us the best estimate to scrape, sand, and paint a 3-storey turn-of-the-century home and agreeing to 'bundle' in a new-construction barn. It was late in the season - early October - when they began, but were blessed by great weather (mostly - one week of rain). The whole process took a little over 4 weeks. We had a terrible experience with this company. We had the exterior of our house painted one year ago. The entire ordeal was a nightmare as the company painted both the entire house and the trim the incorrect color TWO time without any explanation, acknowledgement or apology from the owner, AJ. They also painted the foundation the incorrect color, painted our brownstone steps without asking and washed out brushes and rollers into the grass which we eventually had to have dug out because the lawn was so saturated with paint for several months. We reached out to AJ several times trying to resolve

I contracted with AJ and Custom Colonial to stain a recently refurbished 36' x 16' deck with pergola last summer now exactly one year ago. I reached out to AJ at beginning of May to let him know that stain has been lifting from the deckboards and what he could do with it. AJ said he could touch it up for us. I showed him the stain he supplied (Sherwin Williams Superdeck). He replied solid stain is tough on new wood. I replied that only the rail tops and the pergola cross lattice was new. The deck boards were replaced the prior year. I did remind and let AJ know that his team only used my garden

We recently had our exterior trim painted by Custom Colonial Painting, and they did a wonderful job. I could not have asked for a more professional job. The crew arrived on time and ready to work, but only after Eduardo reviewed everything that needed to be done with the crew. The job took two days, and after it was determined they were finished, a walk around was done with my husband and myself to be sure everything was to our liking. The two workers, Marcel and Rafael, were courteous and did extremely neat work. When we are ready to have our interior rooms repainted, I will request this crew
