Someone stole my son's house keys and we needed a lock change immediately. These guys came quickly (within hours of calling them) and were very reasonable-they were able to keep our old traditional locks and just replace the pins so that there were no cosmetic changes. The prices were lower than anywhere else and the technician, Juan, was very courteous and professional.

Tommy is really good lock smith and I would definitely recommend him and use his service again.

Today he did two new keys for my SUV and Truck.

Tommy to the rescue. My wife and I were visiting Oakland for the weekend and managed to lose our only key fab for our Toyota Prius on a Sunday. We called many places and Tommy was the only one that could bail us out on a Sunday. He arrived early and moved quickly to open our car and make a replacement fob. Super friendly and professional. Wow! So impressed, regular locksmith was not free for another 3 hours. Tommy's send someone out and remnants were back inside in less than 20 minutes. $164.50 for an emergency, after hours call is a great price. We even paid via Venmo.

Found Tommy's Locksmith on Yelp. Used the request a quote feature to contact. Received a message back very quickly with some information regarding pricing estimates and scheduling.

Chose to proceed with Tommy's based on the communication and feedback, although pricing was a little higher than what a couple other providers quoted me.

Two days later, Juan, the tech/locksmith, called and texted me in the morning to confirm arrival time. When I wasn't able to answer the call, they called two more times to ensure the arrival time would work.

I do not recommend them, as they are not reliable.

I used the Yelp feature to ask for quotes from multiple locksmiths. I picked Tommy's largely because of the high number of 5 star ratings. I was not disappointed.
Helped us rekey our house locks and our mailbox. Got back to us really quick. Arrived on time. Price was comparable to the quotes I got from some of the other locksmiths. No complaints from me. Definitely 5 stars.

Tommy's Locksmith is actually a really awesome locksmith but instead of a brick and mortar store, he has a van kitted out with every tool he needs. He comes to your house fully equipped. He fixed the lock on a patio door with a parts he fabricated because they no longer make that lock any more. The man is a craftsman. His job is an art form, not just a job. Super nice guy, super professional and very dependable. Yes, he might cost a bit more than you expect but you need to understand that you are paying for top-drawer skills that he maintains every single year with training that he attends

We have used Tommy's service twice now when we've been in binds for our Airbnb. We can't recommend a service more. The last time we had someone walk away with our key, we had an awesome helper at our door 20 minutes later which saved the day! Tommy's will be our go to as long as it's around!!

They responded immediately to my request for a quote on Yelp, provided a very reasonable quote; and I had a technician at my door in about an hour. Everything was smooth and efficient. Very happy and definitely recommend.

There's a reason he's got 5 stars. I called him to make submasters for a facility I manage, and he requested a few pictures to get a better idea of my ask. He then sent me a quote via email which was very reasonable and in line with other quotes I received. His communication was prompt and polite, and he followed all facility requirements when he entered our building.

I used him for business but I won't hesitate to call him if I need personal locksmith services. Highly recommend!

Tommy rekeyed 2 of my locks (gate and sliding door) for a great price! He and his assistant/trainee arrived on time with masks. They were both very professional and friendly.

A couple of weeks later, one of the locks ended up having an issue with being unable to unlock for some reason and I contacted Tommy. He came by free of charge to address the problem and fixed it in about 20 minutes.

I definitely recommend him to anyone in the Bay Area needing assistance with their locks. Thanks Tommy!

I lost my bag and keys and they helped me out big time! Updated me when he was on his way, cut me a key and programmed it in less than 30 minutes! Hopefully I never have to use him again but if I do I'll use him! Great value, will recommend to anyone I know

Tommy is reliable and hard working!
Called on Saturday morning around 10am...he made it by the 2:15PM.

He never made me feel like he wasn't going to be able to open the door with a key broken inside. I kept hope and he kept his vibe positive and BOOM..he did it! Opened the door, changed out the lock and a small fee later, we were back in business! Super courteous and professional...his number is saved in my phone, as I will need a locksmith again and will most definitely call on Tommy!
