Will definitely do business again! Big job with fantastic attention to detail. Honestly feels like our trees are taller and healthier and more full after Davis Tree took care of them! The crew worked hard and took a lot down, cleaned up so well you wouldn’t know they’d been here. It’s an incredible before-and-after experience for our 30+ year old magnolia and silver maple, plus two neighboring pines that like our gutters & fiber optic line!

Had the canopy raised on a large tree in the front yard and a medium sized tree in the backyard. Davis did an awesome job trimming up the branches. The trees look great! The crew was efficient and cleaned up the work site like they weren't even there. Had a small issue which the owner was quick to rectify.

I'm rating them one cuz I can't give zero stars as far as I know. I made three calls to this place, one in Nov, one in January and one in Feb and was always promised an estimate. Needless to say,none ever arrived. I get that one was around the holidays but the weather was fine. Pruning is supposed to be done in spring so I waited. I gave up and actually found an awesome professional company to provide multiple services in two locations for about two grand each. Davis has zero business being listed as a service. Save yourself considerable time and anger by ignoring their name wherever

Nestor and his crew did a good job removing the tree. However, the stump was not properly ground down enough and we had to pay a landscaper to chop it out with an axe. If you use them, be sure they take out your stump properly. Also, the salesman, Jim did not come back later to check on the job like he said he would. When we talked to the owner, Dan, he was condescending when he talked to my wife. I would use another company if I had to do it over again.

Davis Tree Care took care of a potential problem for the sale of my father-in-laws house. The buyer wanted a huge elm tree removed from the property. This was one of the easiest jobs I had to schedule. From the first phone call to the actual removal of the tree, they were amazing. The sweetest moment for me was when I saw how well they cleaned up after cutting it down. I highly recommend them to everyone!

This is the second time we have used Davis Tree Care to trim up a large maple we have in our back yard. They are very accommodating, considerate of our neighbors and clean up every stick that falls from their work. The maple we have in our back yard is very large and intrudes in both my neighbors yards, so finding the right company to be this considerate is important to me. I will continue to use them and refer them to everyone looking for professional, trustworthy, accountable tree trimmers.

These guys are great! Tim is an excellent arborist, and his team are "artists." Their work trimming our large Norway maple, our yews, our redbud, and service berry shows how they understand the characteristics of these different species' growth patterns and what's best in terms of their health and beauty. SO pleased with the end result. They're "my tree guys" forever!

My experience with Davis Tree Care was great. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous, and I timely received am estimate for the work to be performed and the work was completed quickly.
They were actually able to complete my work sooner than expected because they were working at my neighbors house. The estimator sent to my home, Jeff, was also working next door, and he remembered that I wanted work done. He stopped by and asked if he could do the work that day, and even worked with us on pricing.

Davis Tree Care gets great reviews. I now see why. We had a 40 foot high spruce tree that was suddenly coming up at the roots and leaning heavily on another tree. They quickly came out, provided an assessment and a very affordable quote. They prioritized our situation, noting that a storm was coming this week, and took the tree down and did so with experience and skill. They will now be our go-to tree service.

We contracted with Sterling Tree Solutions for removal of a very large and very dead ash tree on a neighboring property. The Sterling/Davis crew showed up and did a masterful job. They gave me a reasonable quote last year for tree removal. I dragged my feet in spending the money but it had to be done. I'm a first time home owner and wasn't sure about the price. My neighbor and my mom reassured me their price was awesome for my size tree so I hired them. They were quick, clean and efficient. Girl on the phone was very pleasant to deal with too! If I need them again, they will be the first place I call.

How often do you hire somebody to do something and they come when they say, give a fair estimate, perform the work as promised when promised and leave with everything complete buy the payment! Wow wow wow!!
Both my neighbor and I were very impressed. So nice to hire somebody trustworthy and responsible. Things would all work so much better if all businesses (or at least most!) were like this!!!

Davis cut down a tree that was growing underneath our neighbors garage and our fence and they also pruned our backyard tree. Kevin came and talked with my husband for a long time and gave an estimate that was not over the top as some other tree services we called. The service from Kevin and his staff were great. The clean up was great too. Our tree looks beautiful and we are very happy.

They've done good work on pruning trees for us in the past, but never again. Davis guy just showed up AT MY HOME ranting about a bill that had been paid 8 months ago, asking me to write him a check right now "for $500 so we can put this to bed." The whole time he was standing there with his pants unzipped, smelling odd, and ignoring my request that he cover himself. Not sure what story is...but I'd steer clear. Note: This is second time that we've written checks that the Davis office has "lost", which left us having to stop payment on the first check, cut another

Ah....lovely, leafy Oak Park. Not that many Oak trees here actually, but plenty of other kinds. In exchange for their shade and lovely foliage, they do require some care and maintenance. Parkway trees are maintained by the village, everything else on the property is our responsibility.
Davis Tree Care has come out to trim, treat, and tend to any troublesome trees on our territory. We have always found them to be friendly, professional, and reasonably priced.
