All Hangout Lighting products are custom built to order and shipped from our Chicago workshop and showroom in Chicago, IL. Most domestic orders are received 2-4 days after shipping, depending on the location and order size. International orders have a shipping time of 6-10 business days. There may be additional customs charges applied to your package upon delivery.

This is a really cool and unique lighting fabricator and storefront. I bought these sconces online but the bulbs I chose were too high of a temperature for our living room. I took them down to the shop and they were so helpful in choosing the appropriate bulbs and exchanging the original ones. I'm so glad I bought local and supported a women-owned business!

I bought a Double Wall Sconce: Black and Steel. I am not very happy with the quality of the product according to the price Hangout Lighting charges.
First, the Modern Steel Sockets should be STAINLESS STEEL. The first sconce I got was completely rusted. The customer service was efficient and quick, they sent me another package. But still, the sockets are starting to get rust. I am so disappointed with the price I paid and the condition of the sockets I received, a bit of humidity or a drop of water, and forget the nice wall scone...

I purchased a chandelier online from their gallery. I clicked on view product and ordered. Unfortunately, what I received was not what was pictured from the gallery. After spending $800, I now have a light that I don't like and can't return. Of course, HOL would be happy to sell me another expensive light so that I can get what I want. They also did not want to fix their website and insisted it was my error and I should have called to order. VERY disappointing. DO NOT order from this company online.

This review is not based on the quality of their work, but rather their customer service. We are looking for a business in the to create whisk pendant lighting (the kind of whisk people use in the kitchen) that we will be using for a new establishment. I first contacted them via their live chat on November 2. Getting my questions answered on live chat was a grueling process and I was only spoken to one time before the person abruptly left the chat. Advice to business: if you don't have enough team members to support a live chat function, just don't have it and let customers use the other

you can customize your order down to the finishes of the metal parts! They also have SO MANY colors of rope/wire to customize to exactly how you want your lighting to look. Also they have Edison bulbs galore!

We needed new lights in our lofty conference room in an old industrial factory. The owners favorite color is purple and wanted us to find something that would match the purple chairs as well as the industrial vibe. I searched online and found Hangout Lighting's pendant lights with purple cording. I contacted Jen and she was wonderful in helping me figure out the correct bulbs and cord length. I was even able to pick up the pendants at the store on my lunch break! I would highly recommend Hangout Lighting as their customer service and product are excellent. Hangout Lighting went above and beyond for me! I had to replace a piece to a custom light. This light had been made by a company a few years ago and no longer exists. Hangout Lighting were able to match the globe perfectly by color and size. I'm sure this probably took up much of their time, and there was hardly any profit made on their end. They did it because of their amazing customer service! So impressed and thankful!
