Cascade Country Cabins
At Cascade Country Cabins we are dedicated to building among the finest quality Log Homes and Tiny Homes available. Each and every project is built entirely "in house" in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, by our own talented craftsmen, to ensure every detail meets the standard of excellence you deserve!

We offer many unique floor plans designed to accommodate the full-time resident, or the entrepreneur wanting to explore the popular vacation rental market. Other options could include hunting or fishing cabins or just a neat little place to escape for the weekend. Our source of locally harvested materials promotes a distinct and appealing Northwest feel that expresses an atmosphere of being on vacation without leaving home!

There are many wonderful and creative interior options available to log home and tiny home buyers. Currently we are offering only log home kits with site re-assembly with other options available. Tiny homes are built with interior framed out for your own vision. Many of you may be capable of and might enjoy having the opportunity to complete this phase of the build yourself.
Services
Kevin Taal and Tammy Dryden, new owners and operators of Cascade Country Cabins, are "hands on" log home builders who makes it a point to be part of the building process every step of the way. At Cascade Country Cabins we put our hearts as well as our backs into every tiny home, custom log home or log home kit we do.
Owning less to have more is a phrase many of us are beginning to identify with in reference to recognizing the importance of valuing ones time over their possessions, especially when it relates to the pressures of today's society, determining success in the form of the size of your home. Even though interest rates are still at an all time low the mortgage on a home costing $300,000 plus can take a lifetime to pay off!
At Cascade Country Cabins we'll introduce you to ideas and workmanship rarely seen in the log home industry today. Our homes are constructed with well-seasoned lodgepole pine for minimum shrinkage with an average of 10" - 12" diameters. Our log walls are held together with continuous full-length rods to give your home a tight secure fit.
This popular design has plenty of open living area that divides the bedrooms for added privacy. A deck off the master suite is the ideal spot for a hot tub. With or without a loft, this smart design provides plenty of room at convenient locations. Area: 1,614 sq. Dishes are no chore in this well laid out home with a beautiful bay window in the kitchen.
At Cascade Country Cabins, we have been handcrafting distinctive, high quality log homes for over 36 years. In addition to our portfolio of custom and kit homes, we are excited to offer a new dimension to our business - Tiny Homes! A Tiny Home by Cascade Country Cabins will include the same rustic beauty, durability and fine craftsmanship you have come to expect from master craftsman and designer Ben Sciacca.

We have known Ben for nearly 20 years. He has built a small log cabin for us, added an entryway to our log home, and done other log home related repairs and renovation. He is a true craftsman, easy to work with and charges fairly for the materials and labor to get the job done. I have no reservations in recommending him to do whatever log home related work or project you might have, you will be satisfied.

While they did not have the product I was looking for, they were friendly and helpful directing me to a different company. This i find refreshing in this digital age as many places i have called can't wait to get off the phone because they know they won't be making a sale. Ir your looking for a small home office or log cabin minimalist retreat, these guys have some great options.

I love my log cabin home! It wasn't easy erecting it in Lane County, Oregon, but Eugene is my home and we had to adhere to the city code. Ben was very patient with the ups and downs of the very onerous permit process, the changes to the schedule, the challenges of my small lot with a forbidding conservation setback and so on. Seriously, it was a pleasure working with him, but even more important is the quality of the workmanship, and the design of the cabin. I chose the Rainier with some modifications, which Ben was happy to accommodate. Ben gave lots of welcome advice and provided explanations
