The architectural precast concrete & cast stone division of Steps Plus manufactures a variety of custom products ranging from simple window sills to ornate pieces for restoration work. Our lab will achieve your desired color with the aid of pigments and natural aggregates. Our advanced methods consistently produce a high quality precast concrete product that adds a distinctive touch to any project.
The founder of Steps Plus began manufacturing precast concrete steps in Syracuse, NY in 1967. Our reputation for high quality precast concrete steps led a number of commercial contractors to come to us for small sill and coping projects. Over the years, our architectural products division has grown to be the largest architectural precast concrete trim / cast stone supplier in central New York.
Color is one of the most important aspects of architectural precast concrete and cast stone. At Steps Plus we can design mixes to match items such as existing precast concrete, weather-stained limestone, and exposed aggregate panels. We can also develop mixes with the correct color tone to contrast or blend in with just about any material from colored CMU's to colored insulated wall systems.
Architectural Precast Concrete and Cast Stone is an ideal material for signs. Its look of substantial elegance can say as much about a business as the words upon it. Signs are custom made to whatever size, shape and color you desire. Lettering in any style can be molded into the concrete in either a recessed or raised fashion or metal lettering can be surface applied.
The Architectural Precast Concrete and Cast Stone products by Steps Plus have numerous advantages over other materials that are sometimes specified for use as building trim. Precast versus machine made block products and brick. The more joints you have in sills and copings, the more likely you are to have moisture penetration.

Excellent experience from start to finnish. From estimate to the actual installation of my steps, it was a first rate experience. The installation was done very, very professionally-not one shrub or plant was disturbed. I am more than pleased with this company and my experience. Terrible experience from start to finish. We had a back step installed which we were never notified ahead of time that it was coming, they just came with the step. The delivery man got annoyed with us that we didn't have our vinyl fence taken apart so that they could even get it in our yard. I let him know we were never even notified they were coming. He left annoyed and took my step with him. They eventually came back a week or so later and were able to install it. After it was installed, it initially looked nice but started to chip apart on top almost immediately. We called Steps Plus multiple

I'm sorry to say I most certainly would not recommend Steps Plus. Last spring they were hired to install a set of pre-cast steps and railings. Poor measurements were recorded, leaving a 6" gap between house structure and steps. But more seriously... cement blocks used to support the steps are already crumbling and I'm sure will not hold up through the summer. Very shoddy workmanship.

Great experience with this company. Prompt in getting here to get the work done. Did a nice job on the sidewalk and it is still nice and even. As opposed to some of the other reviews, I actually like someone older to deal with. They have experience and knowledge that I unfortunately see lacking in some other younger contractors. i would reccommend this company.

They never called before they came and put the steps in and left a huge gap. That was last year, couldn't get them back out until today. We had to have another set put in. They showed up 2 hrs early and what we had to do was not done. They put the steps in and will have to come back again. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Poor communication and customer service.

Lousy product installed way past their own appointment date. I felt sorry for the old man who measured as I watched him drop tools in the middle of the street, squint in the sun and try to balance a level and tape measure. In total, they measured three times and tried to install the wrong product twice before finally getting something that would fit. My job was really simple - a straight run railing bolted onto existing concrete stairs.
