I started Blythe Interiors 10 years ago as a one-woman show from my home office. I was working at a model home design firm by day and was taking on little side projects for friends and family on nights and weekends. When this grew by word of mouth to be more than I could handle as a side gig, I took the leap of faith and started working full time on my own.
After a few years of flying solo, I was swamped and needed an assistant. I started bringing on a new person to the team every time I got too busy, and now there are 11 of us.and we're still growing! This is all beyond my wildest dreams. My team is EVERYTHING - they are so incredibly talented, so dedicated, and I just adore every single person and the community we have created together.
They've allowed me to step back and be behind the scenes, running the company and chasing my toddler while they go out into the world and make stunning spaces all day, every day. THANK YOU for your never-ending support and encouragement on this amazing journey!

Janice Tran designed us a beautiful and functional kitchen. She helped us figure out how to best utilize the small space we had and had great aesthetic ideas. I loved working with Sarah Kaplan at Blythe! She has impeccable taste - modern, refreshing, and classy all while being fearless with color and print. Her point of view is an asset to anyone, no matter how much or little you know or plan to be involved in designing.
She helped me update my 2k sq ft townhome in San Diego. The consultation/walkthrough was incredibly effective - we identified paint colors, wallpapers, and flooring. While I was able to use my contractor for painting and flooring, Sarah connected me with a vendor for wallpaper. We then collaborated on furniture options.

Calling Blythe Interiors turned out to be a great decision. I'm working on a very small, DIY kitchen remodel and realized I may be in over my head. I needed a professional with kitchen design and space-planning experience as well as one with creative interior design expertise. Jessi came out to my home and was convivial and a great listener. She made practical and thoughtful suggestions and gave alternatives to items I was ready to splurge on that would've had a not-so-impactful result. I now feel confident in my design choices and have finally decided on a color direction for pricy appliances

We purchased a new beach condo and wanted to spruce it up. We didn’t have the money to do all the renovations we wanted but were willing to spend some money to get it to feel like our own and yet be marketable for renters. I contacted Blythe Interiors to get advice on decor, paint, and furnishings. I had hoped for a really beautiful blu-ish gray, coastal-feeling paint color for the condo but after consulting with them, realized that it would not pair well with our warm wood floors. I’m so grateful for their advice and professionalism! In the next few years, we’ll be ready to replace the floors

I did a consult with Jessi to get some ideas to revamp a patio that I wanted to make more comfortable and functional as an outdoor office. I’m a DIYer and pretty creative but she brought fresh eyes to this project and came up with some GREAT recommendations that I never considered. I felt so inspired and confident after talking with her! She was very easy to work with and organized- she even sent me a follow up with details on the plants and other things we talked about. We were going through a remodel of our master bedroom, bathrooms, and living room. We also wanted to update our kid's bedrooms. I wanted a model looking home, but had no idea how to do it. I really needed help with everything-- choosing paint colors, curtains, furniture, and decorating. Jessi from Blythe Interiors was amazing. She is so creative and talented. She helped us choose light fixtures, lamps, wall art, area rugs, furniture, and created a beautiful gallery wall of family pictures on our staircase. The ladies at Blythe Interiors were really spectacular! Super friendly and professional. No hidden agenda. I had been so confused on what to do with my house for years and then Jessi walked in and nailed it! She was spot on with so many of her ideas for paint colors, flooring, draperies, etc. and was always available to give her input. Jessi was very open to listening to what type of style I liked best and worked to help me achieve the look that I desired and she didn't push styles that didn't fit me. I was very happy with the company and especially with Jessi Helbig!

Lynn and Ellen were so great to work with! I needed to completely decorate and furnish my new home for Airbnb and it had to look spectacular. They listened to my ideas and really captured the fun, eclectic, eye-catching look I was hoping for. It looks like I spent twice as much money than I did. Jessi helped me with our 1931 Mission Hills Tudor remodel. She was wonderful about respecting my tight budget and was very helpful about giving me design and layout ideas. She had amazing ideas about how to update our old home without breaking the budget. She is creative and talented and I would not hesitate to use her again!
