Came to my house and looked at exterior and interior. Said I'd have a bid in a week. At the end of seven days I had not heard from him. Called and asked about it. He said he couldn't do the job and gave me a lame and nonsensical reason. He didn't have to keep me hanging an entire week to tell me that.

Bill Powers returned our calls promptly, showed up right away to inspect for estimate, got to us via e-mail forthwith with a reasonable estimate. We found him professional and easy to talk to, with good ideas. He seemed knowledgeable about getting our paint color for us. His son and another worker did the painting. We did have to request at least once for drop cloths to be used, as they were promised. We had to clean up a few drops of paint on our slate porch. They finished earlier than estimated and reduced our bill. We did not expect that. We recommend him.
