Had a mold issue in my home and was under time crunch as my bathroom was already gutted down. I scrambled to find my options and I was most impressed with H&L, how promptly they responded to me and sent someone over to give an estimate. Todd went over the process in detail and it was also clear they were not trying to sell all the bells and whistles and were sticking to what is needed to take care of the issue. Quote was also reasonable. Impressed with their professionalism. Definitely a company I will tap into first for any future needs.

We had mold on the walls, ceiling and tiles in our bathroom and hired H&L to remediate the problem. During the entire process including scheduling, on-site investigation and actual remediation, the staff at H&L has been nothing but professional. The actual job took less than estimated hours to finish and they even adjusted the final charge. Great experience working with them. Would use their service again in the future if needed.

I was supposed to receive an estimate. It's been 3 days since the inspection and I haven't received any estimate yet. I called to follow-up and I talked to someone but haven't received an explanation or estimate. They have great reviews but my experience hasn't been good.

We had a leak in the roof and saw water stains in some of the indoor walls.
Mike came out to look at it. Very nice and professional. He looked at all the issues, explained in depth what he is doing and what the measurements meant. Thankfully the moisture in the wall was already gone and it was just water stains left. Mike didn't charge me anything.
Would recommend H&L to anyone! Great and honest business.

I called Cassaundra for a free quote on Sunday for a crawl space waste pipe burst. Todd Longren showed up on Monday and inspected the site and give quote for the service at -$600 lower cost compared to the other 3 services that i called for quote. So I set appointment to proceed with the job order. Gus and Michael came and did a fantastic job of removing the black water as well as the contaminated dirt. It takes 3 days longer than estimated to dry the area, but overall I am happy with the fantastic job of H&L team has done. This business is family own and operated and I highly recommend

I just finished working with Cassaundra and her team for my condo in Fremont which suffered extensive fire damage throughout the entire unit!
Cassaundra was very communicative with letting me know about how the demo was going to be handled and explaining what needed to be done and why. She also spent time in reaching out to my Property Manager to update her on the project.
I would like to mention that my homeowner's association is very difficult to work with since they have to approve the estimates and are slow to do so!
Cassaundra had the patience to stand by and waited for my HOA to approve

Can't say enough good things about these guys. I had 2 areas of suspected mold in my house. They came out the next day and did some moisture checking. One was on a wood floor that had recently been flooded due to a broken pipe under my sink. No mold, just a bit of warpage in the wood. The other was in my bathroom. That was confirmed as just surface mold and I was told how I can clean it up. They did not charge me for the inspection. If i ever have ANY mold/restoration issues, I will absolutely call H&L back. Two thumbs up!

H&L Restoration gave a prompt response to my request for a mold inspection. They also arrived on time. Another company that responded to my request quoted over $200 for a mold lab test, while H&L Restoration was honest and told us that the mold on our bathroom was surface mold and we could remove it ourselves. Also, we asked how to remove the mineral deposit on our other bathroom's shower head, and they provided a simple solution. A+ customer service. IfhIf we were to have a bigger issue which required professional services, I would go back to them due to their honesty and service

H&L was great. There was a suspected mold concern in my home. I sent out multiple messages on Yelp and H&L responded right away able to come to the home within hours. They showed up right on time and provided their free estimate. They conducted a full inspection and didn't find mold and didn't charge anything for the visit. Many restoration companies have a catch where they advertise free inspection come to find out they do charge and take the inspection charge off your invoice. Not H&L. They do what they say, are very professional and prompt. If I do end up needing this service

I called H&L Restoration for a second opinion. We had a water leak and our insurance sent a different company to dry out the water- the technicians told us that we had existing mold in our beams and we need to get it removed and they were charging us close to a $1000 for it.
I found H&L on yelp and it was easy to get an appointment for the estimate. Cassandra came by and told me that it wasn't a serious case of mold and it can be easily wiped off with bleach and water. She said she can clean it for us but it really was not worth paying someone else to do it when we can do it ourselves

These guys came to my house and removed moldy cardboard from my crawl space. I did two feet in three or four hours. These guys finished twenty plus feet in two and kept the house clean. My baby and my four year old had no ill effects from the mold. Nor did my wife and I. Thorough and clean and good customer service.

I reached out to H&L after dealing with a less professional Restoration company. Cassandra was kind, and got Todd to stop by my house on the same day I called. I expressed my bind I was in with my family holiday party days away. Todd reassured me the damage was minimal and the party could go on treating the area after. Todd came in and completed the job himself. They were both compassionate and I would recommend their service.

I would definitely refer H and L after there quick response and service. Although they ended up not having to do anything (turns out it wasn't mold...thank goodness) they still did a free inspection and we're very professional. If we ever do need there service I would not hesitate to call them again!
