Mark Ervin, Owner: Mark founded Great Yards out of college with a close buddy and a single lawn mower. He eventually built it into what it is today (five 3-man year-round work crews) with a bit of good luck and decades of hard work. You can still catch him in a truck occasionally, when he isn't competing in triathlons or chasing around his five children.
TJ Creek, Grading & Hardscape Specialist: TJ has been with Great Yards for almost seven years and is an expert machinist and hardscape engineer. He is in charge of all equipment operation and maintenance, and can build to perfection everything from walkways to retaining walls to fire pits & patios.
When he isn't working, TJ enjoys being active, working out and fishing. Founded in the early 90's with a single truck and limited experience, Great Yards has grown into a full-service landscape company with a profound history in Nashville. Prior to the housing collapse in 2008, Great Yards had a permanent foothold in almost every new construction neighborhood in the greater Nashville area.
