Advanced Pest Control, Inc., was started in 1979 by John Bednarz, Jr. as a family-owned and family run operation in Newington, CT. John believed in personal service at a fair price with a personalized touch and the business grew with both commercial and residential customers over the years. In 1984, John brought his son, John III., into the business and the family focus continued.
The old expression, "Sleep tight; don't let the bed bugs bite" may have come from around the time when Abraham Lincoln was growing up and it refers to the way beds were made. Instead of box springs to support the mattress, there were ropes to hold the mattress in place. The tighter the ropes were pulled, the less the mattress sagged, so you wanted to "sleep tight" with a mattress that didn't sag.

Stay away. I had Jessie come to my house to inspect for termites. I was not aware that I had to pay an inspection fee nevermind pay it even if I gave them the job. I reluctantly paid the fee. I told him to do the job. Four months later I am still waiting for them to come back.
Finally I called Guardian...not only did I not have to pay an inspection fee...they did the job immediately.
It would seem the only thing Advanced is for...is taking your inspection fee and running out of town.
I also am giving them one star as something was required for me to post a review.
