Please be careful using these guys. Our neighbor hired them to remove a few tree's and we ended up with very large branches falling in our property and on our roof and fence. They came onto our property without permission and left the gate open, thank goodness our dog did not get out. When I asked them to please not enter our property nor leave the gate open without permission, I was told to "take it easy lady".
Highly recommend NOT USING THIS company. So rude and we have never experienced such large branches falling without being tied or succured.

For the second year I scheduled Torres to come do tree trimming at my home. I scheduled well in advance, a month ahead of time to work into their schedule and mine. Then they sent me an email the next week that they had changed the scheduled date to the following week, arriving between 7:30 am and 12:30. So I had to rearrange my weekend travel plans to accommodate them changing my reserved date. They never called to confirm and never showed up. An appointment was made for 11:30 a.m. When nobody showed by 11:50, I called to see when they might show. The receptionist told me the crew was in North Tustin and behind schedule because of the winds--they'd be here around 2:30. At 3:00ish I called and left a message. At 3:45 I called and left a message with the office and on David Torres' cell. I even texted him. I never got a call back. I should have read the recent yelp reviews before I booked them.

Torres Tree Service has failed to show up twice now to perform the tree and Ivy trimming. They were to arrive this morning at 7:30 so I stayed home from work and they texted saying they would be here at 11:30, then they said 1:30 after lunch. No show, called and no answer, texted no answer for an hour. They are 5 minutes out, no show, then excuse that their truck was overheating. She said that they were in our community but the hill was too severe to get to our house because of the work they already did today! I am a homeowner in West LA and have had the good fortune of Torres Tree care for almost 20 years. My Chinese elm in the parkway was last trimmed in Nov 2019 and looks magnificent this year! Each house on my street has a Chinese elm but my tree is the real eye catcher. Only recently 4 months ago David's crew came out and shaped/trimmed a bay laurel tree flanking my front porch and a bottlebrush tree on my side porch. Both trees have lovely healthy new growth. Darlene, David and his staff take pride in their work and service and I applaud their fine work over the years.

Longtime customer since 2009, Torres Tree Service has come through time and time again. Most recently, we had two palms removed, Arturo and his crew did a fantastic job and the clean-up was excellent. Neighbors were impressed.

Unreliable...Unresponsive... Unprofessional... missed two appointments, never called, always an excuse.
I've used this company twice before and have been happy with the results, but not recently.
These guys were responsive to the initial inquiry, then were impossible to reach for scheduling. They never replied to emails. Finally we confirmed an 8/24 appointment, which they no showed. No call or apology or offer to reschedule. When I asked about rescheduling, they confirmed 8/26 at 7:30AM They no showed again. No call to let me know what happened. I called them 5 hours after the missed

I highly recommend Torres Tree Service. This is the second time in 3 yrs I have used their service and will definitely use again! The workers are super friendly and courteous and do a fantastic job! After they had completed my job and left, I decided a few trees needed additional trimming. They came back out right away and took care of it, no charge! I will definitely use Torres Tree Service in the future!

I first hired Torres Tree Service to remove a tree in my front yard that had grown so tall, it was twice the height of my single story home. They removed the roots and it hasn't grown back in the last 9 years. Fast forward to today and they came to trim a backyard tree that had started to approach the same out of control growth. We hired David and his team in July 2012 to remove three trees, each of them between 20-30 feet tall:
1. Podocarpus
2. Melaleuca (multi-trunk)
3. Melaleuca (single-trunk)
The work included stump grinding of all three trees and removal.
Many contractors can remove a tree. What sets them apart (like any contractor) is the attention to detail:
- Is the remaining area clean and left well?
- Is there any collateral damage?
- If there are any final issues, will they resolve them?
Their team did a good job in removing the trees and grinding the stumps, however, they did destroy a sprinkler line. When

This is the 2nd time utilizing TTS and although it took some time to conduct a 3rd follow-up do to their busy schedule, they took care of it as promised. The reason for the 3rd follow-up was due to a pesky mound completely made up of 15+ years of roots. Suffice it to say they took care of it fairly quickly and thoroughly! Thanks again!

Would recommend, and would use again. Profession front end service. Owner was prompt, professional, reasonable with pricing and dates. Staff who came to do the work seemed a little confused regarding service and requirements. Kept asking me what they were supposed to do after I had already talked it over with owner. Thought he would communicate it to them as I was to be out of state at the time of service. Good thing I was there. But did an adequate job in the end. City services came to mark water and gas and electrical lines before service. Left marks on sidewalk and neighbor's sidewalk

I found Torres Tree Service on Yelp. After communicating so many companies for a quote, I was confident about them. They respond to my request for a quote immediately. It was reasonable and we scheduled an appointment that Saturday.
