UPDATE...SolarTech installed our system a little over a year ago. We recently developed a small leak in a pipe that may or may not be related to their installation. Either way Mike was great to want to rectify it and sent his team out first thing the next morning to take care of it. They were quick and thorough.
This is a real professional organization and highly recommend them for your solar work.

Following my prior review, I received a DM from Mike trying to figure out where the lapse in communication happened. I went into their spam folder and they will hopefully make sure other emails to the generic support email don't do the same. He was very helpful, responsive and was able to provide me a thorough quote fairly quickly (I've been waiting I another company for 2 weeks). They are very competitive and we may end up going with them so I'm happy we were able to connect in the end. I will update if we choose them to provide solar installation services.

Raise your hand if the company you had previously install your solar is now out of business. Stuff happens, so started calling for estimates and suggestions as to what our current needs are. Our household has diminished in size from seven to four people so what we originally had is now overkill for water heating needs. Not sure we're interested in having excess electricity being generated, maybe storage maybe not. What are our options?

We have been looking to install a PV system for a while and did our fair share of consultations and received numerous estimates from various companies. Although many of them offered great products and communicated well, SolarTech took the top spot by far. Mike and his team provided clear explanations of the PV system they were recommending and at no point seemed to try to over sell us on something we did not want. Start to finish these guys are great. They replaced my leaking hot water heater and replaced some very old hot water panels. Scheduled the repair immediately, came within a few days to do it, and even completed their work one morning because they allocated the right number of people to the project. The on-the-ground team answered all of my questions and the back office helped me complete my state rebate form. Highly recommend to anyone.

Kirby should be commended for his through, honest, and informational Counault. I had interviewed 3 different companies, and though it was between SolarTech and xxxxxSolar, felt Kirby's word could be trusted. The only reason for not going with SolarTech was because of 1 product the competitor provides fit our family needs.

They came in to take off and installed our PV panels because of a roof job done by Kapili. They came in fast and did a good job. Also they noticed that our Solar Water System has gotten too old and needed to be replaced (which was true, it was 18 years old). Kirby Mack helped and advised us with a new system, great support.

We bought our home back in 2015, and the previous owners had installed PV with another company. We initially had good service from this company but later had issues with communication and service. I found SolarTech Industries on Yelp and I am very, very pleased that I did. From my first contact with Mike it's been nothing but excellent service.

Our solar water heater was not working when it was cloudy and overcast. I called SolarTech Industries (after their business hours) and spoke to Mike. He was able to walk me through some quick steps and my water heater started to make hot water. I was impressed with his professionalism and willingness to help me over the phone. I have no experience with water heaters and he was able to help me reset it. I asked lots of questions and he patiently answered all of them. Everything happened in a timely manner. Sent out our need for a replacement solar air unit and Mike replied in minutes and even came out on his way home to evaluate our situation. A few days later we had a received a bid and after accepting it Reuben was there for the on sight and two days later we had our new unit. Efficient and professional would not hesitate to call Solar Tech again.

Mike and his team did a great job replacing my 13 microinverters that Enphase swapped out via their warrantee. Best prices and quickest availability. Everything is working great.

I submitted a request for a bid on servicing my Aunt's Solar Water Heater and Michael T. was very responsive with a quick and simple bid offering a range of costs.
We did not end up choosing Solar Tech Industries due to the non-specific, lack of detailed information, however, I did give Solar Tech Industries a 4-star rating because of Michael's quick response; which shows me that customer service is extremely important to Michael and Solar Tech Industries.

We had our PV's installed for approximately 7 years, live in Manoa and have 44 panels on our roof. Due to vog that sits in the valley and lots of rain, we don't get the low bills like other areas on the island. That's not my story, here is my story, from a very dissatisfied customer to a very pleased and happy customer.
For all 7 years, we had various companies servicing our PV, from changing panels to replacing many inverters (on a couple of occasions, I had to make my own arrangements to have inverters delivered to me & had to package & return
