It was 1972 when, with the winds of economic change sweeping across eastern Pennsylvania, we first grasped the need for quality, affordable housing in the area. A combination of high property taxes and spiraling operating costs were threatening our farm and our way of life. Fred Kintner watched with interest as an influx of home buyers from New York and Pennsylvania began to populate the area.

The Cape Cod modular home is known for its sloped roof and classic New England look. Cape Cod homes are often perfectly symmetrical with shingles or wood slats covering the house, decorative shutters on the front-facing windows, and dormers on the roof. Because their sloped roofs prevent a build-up of snow, they are most often found in cold climates and a great choice for homeowners in Pennsylvania and New York.
A ranch style modular home also known as the rancher home or the rambler home originated here in the United States of America and is also known for its short stature and exterior decoration. The Ranch Style modular home is typically a one story home and is either rectangle or 'L' shaped. The ranch style modular home is generally found in warmer climates.

We have owned our 2-story home for over 10 years - we love it - it is now long out of warranty and Kintner Homes is still supporting us. We recently had an issue regarding building materials that was out of the control of Kintner Homes and they are spending considerable resources to help us resolve the situation. They are a class act. Highly recommend.

Bought a new 2-story about 10 years ago and paid an up charge for brown moldings and shutters. They just spray painted the moldings and shutters which are now bleeding paint all over the house. We have to replace all moldings and shutters and the bleeding brown is it has destroyed our siding which may also need replacing. This 'up charge' has caused nothing short of a hot mess. Not happy. Beware.

Great times Working With Kintner from start to finish to price and quality. Thanks Dennis It's been close to three years I believe. My house is absolutely amazing I love it to death. Most comfortable place I ever lived. House stays extremely warm during the winner. Stays cool in summer. I think for modular home this is well built better.

I have been living in my Kintner Home for almost 3 years now and the experience of doing business with Kintner Homes was great. My wife and I have never had a home built for us and they walked us through the process and made it super simple. Everything was done exactly to plan. The quality of our home is great and my friends all think it was a stick built house. I tell them it is better that stick build because it was built in a controlled environment. I think Kintner Homes is a great place to get your next home.

The absolute best modular company to work with! I have had my house for 4 years now. Their service is as promised. The quality is great! Stick built vs modular?? Modular builders have set processes and do not take shortcuts. I was treated with respect and kindness. It was one of the largest investments of my life and I have no regrets that I used Kintner. It's been almost 2 years and I would certainly recommend this Company. Family owned 40+ years and it shows in their professionalism, pride in their work and personal service. Sales Manager Dennis is very enjoyable to work with. Jeff Kintner the owner came out to our site and advised along with the Excavator so all could be realized according to plans.
There were a few items needing repairs, adjustments, etc. Their followup crew even months after we moved in was thorough and courteous. Job well done all around. It's nice to get what you want when you want it and have the followup fulfill

We purchased a Kintner home and we absolutely love it. From start to finish they were extremely helpful. I looked at other modular home builders in our area and none of them compared in craftsmanship & quality. Just walking through the model homes you can tell the quality you will get from Kintners. Our salesman, Dennis, was a pleasure to work with and helped us throughout the whole process. We have had only a couple minor issues and 1 call to the service department and they sent a service man out to correct the problem no hassle at all. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of getting a modular

After looking for over a year at many modular home companies we always went back to Kintners. There is just something about all the great reviews we've ever heard from people who have a Kintner home that we couldn't not go with them when it came to our forever home. The whole building process was very quick and awesome to see progress! All the staff at Kintners are very friendly and wonderful! We have never regretted one time with going with them! If you want a company who is extremely wonderful at what they do, go with Kintners, you WONT be disappointed!
