Our Story Report

T.M. Wood Products is a family owned business which started its journey in 1984. Most of our designs were hand carved and pieced together by founder Antonio Mattarelli. His skills and techniques came first hand from mentors who specialized in the craft of wood working in his small town of Pofi, a small village within Rome, Italy.

How It's Made: Machines Report

Ever wonder how we make the materials we re-purpose and create to sell? We have many different machines readily available to make the handmade materials we are known for. From two moulders, to arch shapers - we have it all. Our CNC Moulder with digital technology allows us to develop quicker leadtimes and cleaner moulding details.

Cornices Report

Cornices could be used as multiple piece crown if desired to create both a unique and timeless look in your home. Cornices displayed in the pictures below include crown, base board, along with an insert of a flexible detail piece if preferred. Depending on the designs you like, you have the ability to use any type of base, crown, and flex piece to create any of these looks or a look of your own.

Shelf Mantels Report

TM Shelf Mantels are crafted from quality materials and a patented U-Core design to prevent warping and cupping. Standard or Custom lengths are available in various wood species. TM also manufactures Mantel Shelves for more unique applications such as: L-Shapes, U-Shapes, Pockets and Caps. Our mantels are available unfinished or finished with one of our specially blended finishes.

My experience with this company is the lowest I could expect from anyone. My order came in and no one called until I did to find out it was ready for pickup. When i went there the piece that came in had a noticeable crack on it for which they were silent. The funniest thing is that at the main entrance there's a sign saying "MASKS REQUIRED" but when you enter no one wears masks. I mentioned that fact and got dirty looks from the person I met with and what's more is that the owner came storming to protect his place of business with no respect towards me because I simply asked why would they not

I moved to Florida and started googling places that could make a custom mantel! I had been in Michigan prior to my move so I’m assuming my location services were still set to that location. I found T. M wood products and thought it might be fate. I called and spoke with the secretary and explained my unique situation. She then put me in touch with one of the owners ..Mark!
He explained that he could in fact help me even though I was now living in Florida!
I can’t explain the amount of joy I have with my mantle all by trusting that this was meant to be!

Owner, Tony, came to my home to conduct measurements for all the trim, doors, stairs, balusters, etc... Material provided was superior to anything I've seen at national chains like Home Depot or Lowe's. Their staff is friendly, prompt, and very helpful throughout purchase process. I highly recommend T. I love TM Wood Products. TM installed our beautiful crown moldings, beautiful oak fireplace mantle and travertine marble entrance way. Their interior design expertise is first class. I have seen other homes that TM trimmed or finished and all I can say is WOW! Spectacular. I will certainly order from TM Wood Products in the near future. Great job TM
