Matthew Johnson is the owner and co-founder of Granite State Painters. Matt was born and raised on the seacoast of New Hampshire, where he attended Oyster River High School in Durham. After graduation, Matt went on to study at Colorado Mountain College and Plymouth State University where he received his bachelor's degree in Business Marketing.

We refreshed our kitchen which included interior paint and cabinet refinishing with paint. Their procedure is slick and the product they apply is as good as a factory finish if not better.
Both teams, the interior painting and the cabinet painting team, were polite and, efficient, and helpful. They were always on time and kept us informed about the timeline.
We couldn’t be happier with the final result! Our 24 year old cabinets are like NEW

First time using Granite State Painters, and will use them again. They repainted our house exterior, including removal of shutters to paint at their shop. The house looks better than it did originally. The crew was respectful, and you can tell they love what they do. They are very responsive to questions by phone/text after hours.
