Our mission at Advantage Cabinets is to be a high quality custom cabinet manufacturer. We will utilize a careful mix of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship in order to bring our customers professional design consultation, superior custom cabinets, and exceptional service. Advantage Cabinets, Inc. first opened for business in May of 1990.
It was started by Todd Lundgren who had been in the cabinet industry for many years and saw the need for a high quality custom cabinet shop in the area. The original location of the business was on County Road 45 just across I35 from the Owatonna Airport. In January of 1996, Scott Kubicek and his wife Tina purchased the business.
At that time, Scott was working as an installer and counter top builder for Advantage Cabinets along with 4 other employees. In July of 1996, a new building was built and the business was moved to its current location in the Industrial Park of Owatonna. Since relocating the business, we have added on in 1999 and again in 2001 to the current building size of 14,000 square feet.

Growing up I was surrounded by remodel projects, which I can solely thank my parents for. So even though my search for a college degree started out undecided, I followed my heart and concentrated on what I loved; Interior Design. I received my Bachelor's Degree at UW-Stout; majoring in Retail Merchandising & Management with a concentration in Interior Design.
Caring for your Quartz product is easy. Simply wipe with warm water and pH neutral, non-abrasive cleaner and a clear water rinse. That's it! Although this product is resistant to permanent staining, please wipe all spills as soon as possible. Quartz products are also recommended the use of trivets and hot pads while transporting hot items such as pots and pans.

Please note that Advantage Cabinets, Inc. builds custom cabinets, which means anything is possible.
Our cabinets appear smooth and clean because we dowel and glue them together. This allows for extra strength and longevity, and eliminates unsightly staple and nail holes. Our drawers are glued and doweled together and mounted with 100 lb capacity, soft-closing, full-extension glides. They are guaranteed to deliver smooth, consistent performance for years of effortless use.
