The owner of Nick's Custom Cabinets is a 1960 Graduate of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. He graduated with a Degree in Furniture Design & Construction. After College and 2 years in the Military (Corp of Engineers) as a draftsman, he began working for a French Furniture Designer as a machinist.
After one year, Mr. Nicholas began his teaching career in Calvert County, Maryland teaching Industrial Arts. Later he transferred to Montgomery County, (Bethesda, Md. ) and continued teaching. While teaching, Mr. Nicholas worked and started his business at home.
After 5 years in Montgomery County, he officially opened "Nick's Custom Cabinets, Inc." Since then, Nick's Custom Cabinets, Inc. have built beautiful furniture in some of the most elite homes, churches and offices throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.We have done major work in the World Trade Building in Baltimore, shipped and installed furniture in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia Beach, Texas and Hampton, Va.
