Services
Hiroko Lindsey, Owner and Lead Architect at Lindsey Architects, was born and raised in Japan. She moved to the United States to study at the University of Minnesota, where she received her degree in psychology. During this time, Hiroko also studied at the Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy.
My husband and I purchased a lot and needed to find an architect to design a home with specific lot restrictions and also stay within our budget. I spoke to numerous architects and never felt comfortable with any of them. I happened upon Lindsey architects as they were close to where we were building and after the first meeting I knew we had found the right architect.

We recently engaged Hiroko Lindsey as our architect for design and build of a new home in Ogunquit after speaking with several architects. Our initial impressions were that Hiroko really cared about our planned dream home and that she would go the extra mile to ensure we achieved our vision. Every step of the way Hiroko verified our initial feelings. She spent significant time to understand our goals, she helped us vision options and she worked with us to utilize every inch of buildable space on a tightly zoned lot. In the end, the house Hiroko designed exceeded our expectations. I can not say
